I missed the Train
Though, I think I may have mentioned a fat delusional ex drug addict. Yet I decided not to, because I looked at this commercial and think it is poetry in motion. Plus, good for Nike, I do not fast forward through this commercial.
So I have only moved from NJ to here, sometimes its culture shock!

When, I was little, I would play arcade games that made little to no sense. Really, who is Pac-Man and why would I want him to be eating up ghosts. And Galactica? Please, there is no way I am a space pilot.
But, as I got older, the games also matured and while Donkey Kong was all about animal conservation and at least in Zelda, I was attempting to save a princess and a kingdom. And now adays we play games that have high minded goals like defeating terrorists in Las Vegas or getting Northwestern back to the Rose Bowl.
There are still games that make no sense though and that is what I have found in Dead or Alive Extreme 2. Visually stunning, it has no real goal in mind. Obstensibly, its about a resort where scantily clad pixelated women play party games and interact with each other to try and find and keep the correct volleyball partner. But in the end it is just an excuse to see chicks naked.
Gameplay was fairly simple to figure out, it was a game that you could pretty much just pick up and with a little bit of practice, get the hang of, but even after 2 hours of playing, I could not ascertain what the real point was. I guess to get my character that i controlled and then other characters as close to naked as possible.
I can see who the game was angled towards, hormonal young men, except for the fact that the game is rated M for Mature, which means it should be harder for the girlfriendless types to get and by the time you are 18, you should be able to find other ways of stimulating your mind.
Overall, I would say pass, and just try to figure out Rainbow 6 Vegas a little bit more. Now thats a game that needs practice.
Or maybe its a wing. But, no matter. Here is the story.
Our Anniversary is coming up, only 10 days away or so. And while, there is not much of a plan, I still needs some ideas. So of course, I look to my blogger friends for advice. I have a grand plan, I need the details.
Ya see, my plan is to get one thing from each place that we visited on our Honeymoon. So, thats one thing from San Diego, one or two things from Hawaii and one thing from Seattle. Now, I have an idea in mind for Seattle, but now I have a problem with the rest of them. Coconuts and smoked salmon are not going to cut it.
So, all my blogger friends, how could you help. And please, lets remember that I am on a semi limited budget and cutting it close for shipping.
And now, to get noticed, I will link a few folks because I figure they would just notice a link.

First words out of Mrs Duck's mouth, cute. I would think that right there would be a ringing endorsement. Especially since in most circles, this movie was a romantic comedy with lots and lots of testetosterone.
Jason Segal plays a music composer for a television show, a knock off of CSI Miami and he is dating the hot female star of the show Kristen Bell. Until she dumps him, while naked by the way. For the faint of heart, there is alot of Jason Segal naked in the first 20 minutes of the movie.
So, after some random sex with random chicks, Segal's character shoots off to Hawaii. Turns out Bell and her new boyfriend are there as well. The sexiness of Mila Kunis and the hijinks ensue.
The movie was actually a romantic comedy with some laughs for guys. Russell Brand, who plays Arliss Chris, Bell's new rock star beau, nearly stole the entire movie. He will be the one that I most pay attention to when I watch the movie on DVD, because I am sure he had some hilarious throw away lines that we missed. The only drawback character wise was Jonah Hill's Matthew character. A one trick pony that became old very quickly.
Overall, probably worth seeing in the theaters and definetly a video rental!

I do not know of anyone, anywhere that could have said way back in late August that this game between Kansas and Missouri would be as big as it is. Not a single soul could have foreseen the fact that the winner of tonights game from Arrowhead Stadium, could probably be the number 1 team in the nation and also be one win a way from a shot at a National Championship. That would be like predicting that Cavemen would have been a hit sitcom and then being actually right.
So how did we get here over the last few weekends. Well simple, the Ducks lost to the dreaded ACL and then lost to Arizona and the Big Game was last weekend as well. Michigan vs Ohio State. Michigan has turned into a great defense, but injuries made there offense pretty useless. Ohio State has a stellar defense and a solid running game with the legs of Beany Wells. But there QB throws passes like a girl. So, it should have been no suprise that the Buckeyes pulled out a horribly boring 17-7 win. Snoozer!
One good thing from last week was the loss by Oklahoma. My hatred for Bob Stoops knows no boundaries, so to get the chance to watch his team become befuddled and bewildered by a spread run and gun offense was magnificent. By the time the coach was making adjustments, the Sooners were down 28 points and had to fling the ball all over the field to even make the game close, not exactly an Oklahoma strongpoint. Yes, the Sooners lost.
I am going to have to plead ignorance on the LSU/Arkansas game yesterday. I was in work all day and the Bayou Bengals vs Razorbacks is not exactly a high topic of conversation in my office. Go ask Wordnerd, maybe she knows something.
By the way, the BCS will officially be an utter complete mess if Kansas loses tonight. A Jayhawk loss will mean the only undefeated team left will be the litte respected Warriors of Hawaii. Let the chaos begin.
Last week, though perhaps it was two weeks ago by now, Kailani over at an Island Life tagged me for a weekend in your city meme. I loved it because she did Honolulu and dangnabit when I hit the Lottery I am getting a house there, right next to Keanu's. Unfortunately, no power ball numbers this week, so I guess I just get to do this meme. And of course, I am gonna tag some folks, so look at below.
Of course there are rules, answer the questions, tag 5 people and then go off on your travels to there hometowns. The hardest part is that you can only give one answer for each of the questions. No ties, which sucks.
Best Place to Eat: You would think this would be a hard one, hell, Philadelphia is a major metropolitian city. However, in most places the drinks are great and the food is eh. Chains are popular. So while Mrs Duck and I are Carraba kinda people, I will nominate Roy's on 15th Street in Center City. Its our anniversary place, its the place we usually take out of towners who wont be around again for a while and it transports you back to the Islands. Roy's pulls off a tough trick, transporting you out of Center City, at least with your tastebuds.
Best Shopping Mall-Ok we are only going to sort of cheat here, since the mall at King of Prussia is not really in Philadelphia, but it is within a good driving distance. This mall is actually two malls connected to each other, and is on 2 levels.

By the way, the map only shows one half of the mall, there is a whole other half. Which is why there is always one holiday shopping trip up here.
Famous Landmark:Okay, do not tell me that you do not know that the Liberty Bell is here. Good gravy its the Liberty Bell!
Best Tourism Attraction:Well, once you are done with the Liberty Bell, which will honestly take you 10 minutes, you could mosy on down to the Constitution Center. Its one of the best historical things in the City proper. Not only are there life like models of all the signers of the Constitution, there is also one of 5 original copies and usually a changing display in another museum section. In fact, we went to see the First Ladies exhibit a few weeks back because Mrs Duck just loves Jackie O.
Best Place for the Kids:Yep, another Museum, but this time one that they will probably like. The Franklin Institute is also in Center City Philadelphia and is a cool museum because they really want the guests to touch things. Its one of those scientific museums, with all about the heart and electricity and wind, etc etc etc. The just had the King Tut exhibit close and trust me, when we went, it was overrun with school kids.
Popular Outdoor Activity: Hmm tough one, though I can say that the rowing down the Schuykyll seems to be very popular. You wont catch me doing it, but it does seem popular.
Breathtaking Views:The Pyramid Club in the Mellon Bank building. Ok, I have never seen it, but Mrs Duck has and raves about it everytime we go past the old Mellon Bank Building. Its a private club, so you and me will just have to guess on how good it looks, but Mrs Duck did get to collect some perks for working for a big time corporation.
Only found in Philadelphia: One word my friends, Tastykake.
Thanks for visiting and now 5 suckers that get tagged:
1.Bond's Big Leather Couch (how often will we read the word Elvis)
2.Rhian, the Creative Goddess
3.Amy Ruttan
4.One Gals Musings
5.Interstellar Adventures

Ok, lets get the painful part out of the way first. California nipped Oregon 31 to 24. It was painful to watch and smacked a bit of the Eagles in the first game of the year. The Bears got at least 14 points off Oregon turnovers, including one muff of a kickoff and Dennis Dixon finished off any talk of the Heisman by throwing an interception in the red zone and one interception at his own 10. Never mind the fumble on the one yard line. Trust me, this Duck was quite upset!
That pain relived once again, thank you very much, the rest of the Saturday, and really Friday night was a day full of upsets.
Upset that surprised me the least you ask? Texas getting thumped by Kansas State, 41 to 21. This Texas is not the Texas of 2 years ago, they had a nice ranking based on the fact that they are the Longhorns, there coach is Mack Brown and the have a Quarterback with a really cool name. The Wildcats know how to play the Longhorns, look at what happened last year, so this was not shocking to me, though the score was.
Upset that shocked me the most? Florida losing at home to Auburn. Auburn still does not have an offense, I do not think they have had an offense since Tommy Tuberville got there 9 years ago, but they know how to hang on to a lead. Florida was another one of those overrated teams, and if you want to talk overrated coaches, lets look at Urban Meyer. He won at Bowling Green with someone elses players, he won at Utah with players recruited by someone esle and he won last year with the Gators with, you guessed it, players recruited by Ron Zook. So it should be no shock when his system is figured out and he has to rely on talent. The Gators are young and for all the talk of Tim Tebow, he can not really throw a good ball.
The upset that made me happiest of course was Oklahoma losing to Colorado. I have a special kind of hatred for the Sooners and there whiny, slimy, egostical coach Stoops. I must admit that as I watched the Buffaloes celebration after the winning field goal, when the cameras caught an 8 year old Sooner fan crying in the stands. Get used to it kid, your coach never schedules anyone and then hopes to get lucky to get through the weak Big 12!
I mentioned South Florida on Friday night, but they could be the BCS Cinderella this year. They have a killer defense and tough as nails quarterback. Oh yea, and there cheerleaders are hot. Go Bulls for sure.
Rutgers lost in there first real game, I guess Norfolk State was not a good warmup in comparison to Maryland. USC is still overrated, though not as overrated as before, since they are no longer the number one team in the land. That spot is owned by the Bayou Bengals of LSU, who are just a wicked team on offense and defense. Plus one of there biggest boosters said that she thinks Oregon will beat USC, which would make my year. So lets all follow the Wordnerd and hop on the purple bandwagon.
Hawaii won again of course, fun team to watch, even when they are playing the Idaho school for the blind, which is of course the University of Idaho Vandals football team.
**Edit-I forgot to add the gratuitous cheerleader shot, so here are some Trojans I do like, the girls of Troy University***
That was a waste of 3 and a half hours that I won't get back. The Eagles came out flat again last night against the Washington Redskins and in fact coughed up another game. They are now 0 and 2 and also 2 games back of 2 division rivals. The running backs were still strong enough, but the rest of the offense looked a bit off. Jason Avant looks like he will be a good wide receiver, but Kevin Curtis and Reggie Brown looked like they could not get out of there own way. Donovan McNabb looked rusty, or still injured or a bit of both. Neither the offense, nor the defense played with any kind of intensity, or need. I know it is only the 2nd game, but they have now given away 2 winnable games. And next week they play the aerial circus that is the Detroit Lions, with a banged up secondary. It might be one long year in Philly. Sheesh, the Arizona Cardinals have a better record!
As I mentioned, I did not see too many games in the college ranks this weekend, but I still can muster up some thoughts.
USC looks impressive once again, though in my mind they still have not played anyone that difficult. I am amazed at how they just seem to be able to insert new running backs ever year. Just please, do not tell me that John David Booty is a Heisman Trophy Candidate. Im thinking Gino Torretta (and there are like 3 of you that get that joke)
UConn needed a controversial pass interference penalty to defeat Temple. Not exactly the brightest day in UConn football history when you need the Zebras to help you beat a hapless MAC team.
Texas snuck out a win over U of Central Florida. While if you want a recap, you can click here, but I will say this is one of the reasons that the big schools do not go to the smaller schools to play a game. If that game was in Austin, it probably would have been a 21 point game instead of a 3 point one.
The long national nightmare, well national if national was just Big Ten country, is over with the thumping that the Wolverines put on Notre Dame to get there first win of the year. Lloyd Carr may last 2 more weeks now, until he loses to Minnesota or, shudder to think, Minnesota.
Finally, Oregon won once again, though this was a game they were supposed to get and the Warriors of Hawaii, my new BCS buster darlings, stomped all over UNLV 49-14. I am just glad the Rainbow Warriors got to do the Haka before the game.

way way way way way way way back, Twyla tagged me for the 5 best nights meme. In fact, so far back that Desert Songbird came through and tagged me for the same meme. So I guess its time to get to it, right?
The rules, list the 5 best nights that you can recall and then tag four other people and see if the meme can continue. So without much further ado. though looking it over, it seems to have shrunk to 4 nights, oh well
1.My First U2 concert 2005-It was just something that I had wanted to do ever since I had cranked up Bono and the Boys in the 1980's Then they had that Zooropa thing and I just could not get my head around it, so I waited until Vertigo in 2005. And it was so worth the wait, I was able to sing along to every damned song, and felt like the whole audience had a connection to everyone else. I am sure the next time won't live up to it, but it will be great to find out if it does.
2.Knights vs Braves Wrestling Match, Feb 1998-Ever since I was 6 years old, I have been going to different high school sporting events with my dad. Most times it was games or events involving the High School he worked at, so I had become a huge fan. In February, 1998 there was a state playoff match between my Dad's school and another school just further south which was actually one of the rivals for the HS I graduated from as well. So, when the Knights came back to beat the Braves on 3 straight pins to erase a 17 point deficit, the small crowd we were in was apopolectic. And my dad was the one doing the most screaming. By then I was in my 20's and this was the last event we went to together before Dad retired, but it was a great way to end it.
3.The First Night I had real ID and could go out to the Delaware Bars-I was always a bit of a chicken, so I never got myself a fake ID. And the college bars in Newark, De were always some of the toughest ones to get into. So, when I finally turned 21 in October and was able to get into the Stone Balloon without any fear, I was ready to rock and roll. And when Love Seed Mama Jump took the stage and I did not pay for a drink the entire night, how bad could the night have been. Well, it would have been better if I had hooked up with a chick, but you can't have perfection.
4.The Second Night Mrs Duck and I were Husband and Wife-Now, it would have been way to easy for me to list our wedding as one of the best nights of my life, though it really was, I don't like going the easy way. Plus the wedding was a Day and Night thing, so Disqualification, no? Anyway, the second night was so great because we were just so giddy. We went out to dinner at The Melting Pot and both got nice and buzzed because we were staying in the city. Mrs Duck was telling anyone that would listen that we were newlyweds and it just seemed so comfortable and easy to me.
5.The First Night in Maui-Now, the whole honeymoon was terrific, not one bad night, well except for the one night in Seattle when they lost our hotel reservation at 2 am, but I digress. But the first night in Maui was just spectacular and we had the whole great week in front of us still. We were able to have a great dinner at the Caffe Ciao and just wander along the beach in the moonlight, no fear of anyone ruining the moment, or asking us for a quarter or anything. Plus, the view from the room, with the moon off the ocean and the sound of waves flowing into the room, it was just the perfect beginning.

Ok, no Mahalo, kind of hard to actually get a picture of Thank You, isn't it? But here is picture #99, from late April. The other 98 pictures are over at Sparky's Hut. Amazing how one can get so excited about a mat that you rub your feet on.

Kailani is one of those great bloggers that always seem to have a well timed kind word. She runs two phenomenal blogs, An Island Life and An Island Review. Heck, she was smart enough to name me a Awesome Boy Blogger, how could she be bad at all. Plus, she let me interview her.
1.Again, thanks for letting me interview you. Lets get this started by just telling us a little bit about yourself.
Let's see . . . my name is Kailani and I blog at An Island Life and An Island Review. I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Hawaii and work as a Flight Attendant. Even though Sparky didn't select me as the hottie of the 50th state, I still agreed to do this interview. *wink*
2.Now, I am going off assumption and you know what assuming does, but I assume you work for one of those smaller regional airlines. If someone came to you and said they would double your salary, would you work for bigger airline that means more travel?
No, I wouldn't. I really like the airlines that I work for because I have the choice of being based in the mainland or in Hawaii where my family is. My sister works for a larger airline company but is based in Los Angeles. It's very hard on her and her family when she has to commute.
3.Actually, living where you live, how do you manage to actually go to work everyday?
I'm not really a sunny beach person. Give me an air conditioned plane any day!
4.So, if you can, what do you think of the TSA?
Like any other profession, there's good and bad employees. As for their policies, I feel they're needed and makes me feel safer in the air. However, they need to exercise more consistency in enforcing these policies.
5.Strictly Hypothetical of course, but give all of our readers some idea of how to get along with in-laws?
No matter how much they get on my nerves (and believe me, they do!), I try to keep in mind that they are my husband's family. Bottom line. What also helps is that they live on a different island and I know that they eventually have to go home.
6.Since the theme of the blogathon is Philadelphia, have you ever visited our fine city?
I've never been to Philly but have been to Chicago. Is that close enough? *wink* My sister had a layover there and I went with her to hang out.
7.Cheesesteak, whiz or sliced cheese?
Is cheese whiz that processed goo in a can? Yuck!
8.You live all the way out there on the islands and sportwise there is nothing beyond the Hawaii Rainbows, sorry, Hawaii Warriors? Do you all have a team you follow?
Not really. Since we don't have a professional team, the locals are pretty much divided on who they support.
9.Do you know who Shane Victorino is?
Who? Oh, do you mean the baseball player? The one from Maui? I believe he started with the Dodgers and then was drafted by the Padres in the early 2000s. Didn't he end up with a team called The Phillies?
I was impressed
10.U2, you and I share a connection on. I know that the album, Joshua Tree came out just before I went into High School and the whole thing changed my musical listening life. What is your U2 moment?
It would have to be the release of the album - All That You Leave Behind. I found it to be very inspirational and moving.
11.Stuck in a snowstorm (ok just go with me here) and you have a broken TV set that only gets one channel, what channel do you hope it is stuck on?
I guess CNN. I hate being out of the loop and CNN would keep me updated on what was going on in the world. If not CNN, then maybe Home Shopping Network? hee hee
12.Lindsay Lohan, victim of a needy and useless family, or full blown idiot?
She needs to be taught a lesson by the criminal justice system!

And when I say Hawaii, I mean hot hot hot Hawaii. While I love Maui for its lovely scenery, warm tropical breezes and glorious weather, I would also think there might be alot of eye candy out Hawaii's way. Lauren Graham, of Gilmore Girls fame and sort of that quirky hotness was born there. And of course, Nautica Thorn needs no introduction, and I will deny knowing who she is, but again born in Hawaii.
Well, we have another one of our famous ties as Lauren was actually a runner up.
Nicole Kidman, Hollywood's Australian darling, was actually born in Honolulu, Hawaii on June 20, 1967. Besides being the former Mrs Cruise, she is also an Oscar winning actress and just flat out gorgeous.
Tia Carrere was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 2, 1967. Best known for being the girl friend in Wayne's World, she is also the voice of Nani in the Lilo & Stitch movies, one of my favorite Disney enterprises.

Its Summertime, which means alot of lucky dudes and dudettes are off running around on various beaches enjoying themselves. So, to sort of connect with all those lucky you know whats, here are 13 beaches that Sparky has visited over my lifetime. If pictures are included, they are pictures I have taken. Enjoy and wash the sand off your feet before you leave. 1.Wildwood Crest, Wildwood Crest, NJ- For about 10 days every summer from 1979 to about 1987 or so, our family vacation every summer would include spending time with the Grandparents in a one bedroom, one bathroom suite in Wildwood. While it sounds unappetizing now, it was loads of fun when you were 10. 2.Jekyll Island, Georgia-I can barely remember this trip to the beach, because it was so long ago and I think it was actually raining when we were there. But the beach itself was small and kind of rocky. With limited memory, this was not one of my favorites. But, lets rememebr I was like 13, and at 13 you dont like anything. 3. Daytona Beach, Florida-A weird little beach, but again I was there with my parents and brother. So while the fact that the cars could drive on the sand was cool, I missed out on alot of the other "activities", so to speak. 4.Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey-This was where we would hang out on the summers in High School. If you wanted to hook up with a New Yorker under the boardwalk, this was one of the places. ![]() 5.Canon Beach, Oregon. This place is best known for Haystack Rock, as well as the fact that part of the movie Goonies was filmed there. It was gorgeous, but very cold on the feetsies. I have to find my pictures from there, they were cool. 6.Harrington Beach, University of Delaware-Ok, this is not a beach in the sense that there is sand and water. It was a grassy location between three dorms at my alma mater. They call it a beach because it is more dirt then grass, plus the coeds would always lay out here whenever it was close to warm enough to wear a bikini. 7.Sarasota, Florida-It may or may not be Sarasota, but it was darn close to there. Amazing Sunsets over the bay. ![]() 8.Hilton Head Isle, South Carolina-I have been to these beaches a couple of times and what I can remember is the waves really were kind of sucky. The sand was gorgeous and the sun was warm, especially for April. 9.Waikiki, Oahu, Hawaii-I know I have mentioned this multiple times before, so just enjoy. ![]() 10.Estrella Mountain Golf Course, Goodyear, Arizona-Ok, again, it is not really a beach with waves. But, I consider it a beach because the last time I played golf here with my father, I spent most of my time in the giant sand traps. 11.Ocean City, Maryland-It was not exactly beach weather when we were down there this year, and to me it was an odd little place if you were looking for the beach feel. I think it was because of the high rise condos right on the water. But, dipping your feet in the sand did make you long for summer. ![]() 12. Wailea Beach at The Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui, Hawaii-This was the beach that was right off of our hotel. Breathtaking! Technically I believe it is called Polo Beach. ![]() 13.Black Sand Beach, Maui, Hawaii-Found on the Road to Hana. I would have sat here and looked at all the beautiful natural colors exploding around us for hours, if I could have. ![]() Links to other Thursday Thirteens! 1. First, a real quick plug, if you have not read it yet, scroll down two posts to see a entry done by Mrs Duck. I am trying to get her to write on this blog some more and she finally did a post, and I want to be sure it gets shared. Ok, commercial break over. One year ago this week, we were living it up in Hawaii. I took so many great pictures, though it was close to impossible not to take a good picture. Being the smart blogger that I am, I figure I can share 13 pictures from Oahu and still have a few posts left over from the rest of the trip. So, 13 pictures from our stay in Waikiki. 1. ![]() Diamond Head 2. ![]() yep, more Diamond Head 3. ![]() I think Tug has this one on her blog. 4. ![]() Even the rain clouds are pretty over Honolulu. 5. ![]() They are like happy little ants down there. 6. ![]() Are these Otters or Sea Lions? Anyone? Bueller? 7. ![]() Sometimes, Dolphins move way too fast to get a good shot of them. 8. ![]() It is no wonder that they shoot Lost around the Islands. 9. ![]() The Royal Hawaiian, where we stayed. And yes, it is pink. 10. ![]() See, more proof it's pink. 11. ![]() A very very old Coconut Tree 12. ![]() Everyone says Mai Tais are the best drinks on Oahu, I vote for Lava Flows and Mojitos myself. 13. ![]() Goodnight Waikiki, Goodnight Thursday Thirteen. Now there is a part of me that thinks I have done this list before, but Goddess who cares, look how pretty it is. Links to other Thursday Thirteens! |

Editors noted: The ownership is the human form of me, the feathered Coach is my alter ego. Though I will be as honest as I can be answering questions, you needed this information for any of the lead up to make sense. Yes, I probably need to be medicated.
Coach Duck came sauntering into the side room at Franklin Field, not really to pleased about being dragged away from his vacation on the Galapagos Islands. He was the coach of a fantasy football team, who would care what his thoughts were? But the Ownership of the Blue Ducks said it would be good for merchandising, the fact that he was sitting down with a couple of bloggers that skewed to the woman's point of view would get Blue Ducks aprons and sweatshirts and mock cheerleaders outfits sold. So our feathered friend scoured as he looked across the table at Tug and awaited her questions.
1. Are you like your cousin Donald Duck & don't wear any pants?
Puhlease, of course I wear pants. You think that I could walk around Philadelphia and not wear pants? And I must say, Donald is a distant distant cousin. The family resemblence is quite small, ending at the fact that we are both ducks. Next Question!
2. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? Why?
*taking a deep cleansing breath* If I could live anywhere in the world, it would be Wailea, Hawaii. The stress is non existent their, the weather is gorgeous and everyone just seems so friendly and happy. It may have been because we paid them gads amount of money when we visited last, but to me its the perfect place.
3. You're having a dinner party, and anyone you invite WILL be there. Name 6 people you would invite - dead or alive. (It's a fantasy, so I included dead people)
Well, to be sure I don't get shot with an arrow when this is published, I am going to assume that Mrs Duck will already be there and not count her amongst the 6. Don't like it? Too Bad, its my question. So, in no particular order.
1.Bill Clinton-THE GREATEST PRESIDENT EVER
2.Tony Kornheiser-He is a brillant, humorous writer, plus he knows sports.
3.Frank Lloyd Wright-An American genius
4.Scarlett Johansson-Everyone needs a little eye candy
5.Bruce Springsteen-my musical hero while I was growing up.
6.Adolf Hitler-Just so I could ask him what in god's name was he thinking
4. If you could only watch one sport for the rest of your life, what would it be? *the duck looked down, dressed in his football coaching outfit and gave a blank stare* Please, Ms. Tug, Football is a game of combat, a battle of wills. Plus, it makes great great television. No contest.
5. What do you want to be remembered for?
Hmm, I wish to be rememebered for being a great husband, a terrific father, even if it is only to a bunch of kittens, which, by the way, would make me very very happy and to be remembered as someone who was always their for their friends when the chips were down, whether they were online friends or in person ones.
Now, if you have nothing else, I have another interview waiting. I hope the people of Hell, er I mean Colorado enjoy learning more about me. And with that and a flutter of blue the Duck was gone.
The Coach stomped out, hoping he did better the his friend Charlie Manuel in front of the press as he came across the Southern reporter from No Accent Yet. Now this interview was important, since there were internet rumors about the team moving to the Carolinas in the next few years. Though, how hard could this interview be, it had been reschueled once because Tiff was sore from her tattoo.
1) Your best friend is a goat named Emu. How do you explain this to your Mom?
Well, my mom has met my ex wife, so I don't know if their would be much explaining necessary. But, I would just say that he has always been a good friend to me, never questions my decisions and no we are not having sex.
2) Mint chocolate chip ice cream. Would you eat it before all other flavors or only if there WERE no other flavors?
Oh thats an easy one. I only like mint in my mojitos. And the frozen chocolate chips makes my beak hurt when I bite down on them, so only if there were no other flavors.
3) Ever seen a real two-headed calf?
Depends on what you mean by real. During my summers in Wildwood, there was a Ripley's Believe it or Not stand, and I could have sworn there was a two headed calf in formaldahyde. Though it could have been a goat.
4) It's summertime, and you're going on a picnic with your wife. What do you pack, and where do you go?
Oh, this is a very tough question. I can't keep mentioning Maui as my fantasy destination. So, I would pack some a muffaleta salad, a bottle of riesling, some baked brie en croute, that was magically warm when we got there and as a nod to my lovely wife, I would find the place where Much Ado About Nothing was filmed in Tuscany and have the picnic there.
5) Do you like triangles or circles better? Why?
Another tough one, but that is because I picture myself as a witch. I would pick a circle, because a circle is where witches get all their power from. A closed circle is much more powerful then just casting a spell all by yourself, because you draw off the power of others around you. Plus, stadiums are usually some sort of circle.
Now, the official stuff:
If anyone else wants to play along:
Leave me a comment saying, “Interview me.”
I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
You will update your weblog with the answers to the questions.
You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.
The wind chill is 2 degrees here today, so thoughts of Hawaii are necessary.
