Happy American Thanksgiving-WKRP Style
I want to wish all my American friends a happy and safe Thanksgiving. It should be a time of family and friends and laughs.
Speaking of laughs, here is the greatest Thanksgiving episode, ever, WKRP.

There were two bands that affected my youth. Well, really 3, since Love Seed was my favorite Delaware drunk band. But, for speaking the message of dispair and angst, it was Pearl Jam and Smashing Pumpkins.
The Pumpkins get top billing tonight, tonight

I thank everyone for there support. We are in the middle of a major project, so taking a day off has to wait until Turkey Day. I did find the BAU number just in case, because there are days I find myself on the verge of a breakdown, I did see my general doctor today. Let us see how this lexapro works.

I am so desperate of happiness, that I look forward to seeing my wife and a bottle of vodka every night, though trust me, it stays in that order.
I am so desperate of therapy that I actually beg for it
I am so desperate to not make a mistake at work, that when I make the big ones, there are moments where I just want to drive off the road.
This is not good right?

when you play a team that chirps and screams and cries, even though they are down 21 points, the masses cheer scoreboard, as in you are losing 56 to 21, so shut the hell up.

Though, it is an awesome game. However, I would like to kick CBS in the gonads, because the return of Nick Saban to the Bayou with the #1 team in the nation deserves an 8 PM kickoff, not 3:30. How are the Bayou Bengals fans going to have the chance to get them selves half in the bag?
But, there is more, Oklahoma State at Texas Tech screams trap game, any time USC is playing is an opportunity to giggle with glee if the Trojans manage to lose. Heck, Ga Tech vs UNC excites me.
This has been a fun college football season, there has not been a weekend so far that was a waste, though the Purdue Oregon game did save one of those Saturdays.
Geuax Tigers!

Because, John Kerry lost and it meant 4 more years of GWB. Kerry, however never inspired me, never made me feel sold into. I saw Kerry with Bill Clinton in Philadelphia, but I saw him because Bill was there.
Tonight, I cried tears of joy. I wanted this, I wished this, I felt this. And it is not just an Afro American thing. The change is real, the time is now, to come together is the way we should be in a melting pot that is this country.
But dammit
Yes we Can!!!

One of my favorite West Wing moments ever. Shocking I consider myself a Wiccan? I think not...

And while I am sure any of my faithful readers know who I am in the bag for, it is still so super exciting. Things could change tomorrow and dammit, I really need it. So, as we prepare for the biggest vote since Clinton Bush, let us look back on some great presidential moments, fictional and factual.
Hyperion inspired me today, and I realized that Aaron Sorkin is kind of brilliant and kind of predicted this moment in time 6 years ago with the Santos candidacy. But, Sorkin was also all over the American President, which is where we start tonight.
