50 States 50 Hotties-Late Indiana Addition

So apparently, Evansville is not in Indiana. It must be the same feeling of most Ohioans I know, that Cincinnatti is not actually in Ohio but in Kentucky. So, humble readers, here is a late addition to the 50 in 50 list. You tell me who is hotter.

Desert Songbird was born someplace in Indiana at sometime after 1950 and before 1990. She is a huge fan of Butler University as well as whatever sports are going on in Indiana. (You tell me, I dont know about anything else that is that big a deal, I mean Peyton Manning only beat the Bears, puhlease). She is a singer and I believe songwriter and I am sure she has done some sort of acting, even if it was at Christmas time when she said "Hunny, this lawn mower is beautiful."

Sparky, you are one evil feathered fiend, my dear. Of course, you picked the most flattering photo of me, taken in 1993 I might add. At least it was before childbirth and I still had a waist, such as it was.

Okay, let's clear up some facts:

born: Indianapolis (the capital city, don'tcha know)

when: none of your damn business but it was after 1960 and yes, prior to 1990.

Peyton: Hem, hem. Beat not only the Bears, but let's remember who his Colts beat to get to the Super Bowl. Lessee...down 28-3 in the AFC Championship game to whom?....um....Oh yeah! Tom Brady and the Patriots, wasn't it? Biggest comeback in NFL playoff history, I believe. You are correct - I love just about all Hoosier sports. Larry Legend (the Hick from French Lick), the old ABA Pacers, Fightin' Irish football, IU Hoosiers basektball, my Bulldogs basketball, Peyton and the champion Colts...ahhh...sports heaven! Heck, during March Madness, I'll root for Valpo, Purdue, IUPUI - any Indiana team that makes the Big Dance!

Nope, not a songwriter. Actually was a magazine writer for several years, but, yes, I do sing and I was a stage actress and singer in high school and college.

So there!

That is just too funny! I just knew Desert Songbird would have something to say about this!

Just a coincidence, but we had a football question last night at trivia that also involved the "greatest comeback of NFL history."

In 1993, the Buffalo Bills were down 35-3 going into the 4th quarter and won the game 38-35 in a wildcard playoff game against which team, doing so without their starting QB Jim Kelly?

HAHAHAHAHA....Very Good (and accurate) Sparky. Too Funny.

I remember that Bills comeback game, and I almost mentioned it, but since it didn't involve an Indiana team, it would have been out of context. That game was incredible, and with Frank "Where is he now?" Reich? Whodda thunk?

The fun part is I was in the restroom when the host asked the question so I did not hear it well. As I returned to the table I stopped and asked him to repeat it for me. He was a bit flustered because the wording he had was awkward, so he satarted out with, "In a 1993 playoff game who did Houston...."
I would have never known the answer if not for him telling me by mistake.
