Convo of the Weekend
Mrs Duck and I were watching the Live Earth concert most of Saturday. A tidbit of our day.
Mrs Duck, watching the Pussycat Dolls perform in London, "I remember when my stomach was that flat."
Me, checking the internet for recipe and knowing that some sort of sagging boob comment was coming next, "yes, but baby, they are just supposed to look like strippers."
Not my best effort, but not my worst either on a fly.

If I remember correctly, before these ladies found someone who thought they could sing, were they the same Los Angeles-based dance troupe that was becoming famous for reviving burlesque shows?

I didn't know anything about this Live Earth deal until it was happening. I stumbled onto Dave Matthews and Foo Fighters, but between the "infotainment" and other junk, I didn't stay with it long.
I did see Madonna for a bit, and I admit to being attracted to her mostly because she retains her hotness while being close to my age, which elevates the hotness level considerably.
I only heard rumblings about the event over the past week. I think I heard that Al Gore was hosting or organizing it, which means again it must be about something the ass hat did. :)
Mr Pop became all about watching Live Earth when these ladies were on. I called him to the tv and said, You might want to check out these girls. Then I reminded him he was old enough to be their father. I can on occasion be evil. :)

See, I might have gone with, "But they were never as hot as you were then, and not nearly as hot as you are now," and then some immediate kissing.
What were you watching Live Earth for anyway? I assume the "Test Screen" channel wasn't working, and you were looking for something equally as worthless.
Nice analogy by Anthony. He's right, you know; wife shoots, you block. Just don't get caught goal tending (different sport, I know, but you catch my drift)...
