Question of the Weekend...

The Shirt decision for Ocean City will be a gametime decision. I am leaning towards the sports coat with the button down shirt, but will make a final call once I see what everyone else maybe wearing and also the weather. Can't be sweating like a hog can I?

Happy Mothers Day to everyone, be sure to sleep late, even you mommies to furballs.

So, last minute stuff to do before we hit the road, so I leave you with this question.

How do you pack? Is it minimalist or maximum? Does you significant other think you're nuts when you pack?

Have fun at the wedding, and don't forget the dance floor pics :-)

The cutie and I are similar packers, except I know how to fold and he doesn't, so really I'm packing twice. I usually take a few things I never wear but a pair of panties for every day plus two that I'm gone.

Again, enjoy yourselves!

I'm a minimalist, but I only go to K's & she has a washer & dryer AND closet full of clothes to borrow!

Have a great weekend!!

Have a great time at the wedding! Happy Mother's Day to Mrs. Ducky (you'll get yours in June!)

My husband threatens to divorce me everytime I pack. It's complete chaos. And then I have the nerve to rant and rave when something is missing.

I pack last minute and I take the bare minimum of clothes and stuff. Music is another story :P

For what it's worth, Sparky, here is my take on two things:

PACKING: Pack light. There are stores everywhere - especially in Ocean City. If you're going to over-pack, go for socks and underwear. Everything else can be bought on demand.

DRESS: If you want to be like everybody else, go ahead. Be your own man. Never apologize for the way you dress. If you want to be casual, be casual. Make those other guys look like they screwed up by wearing a jacket when it's 85 degrees. Sport coats are for losers when the temperature is too warm to be wearing any other type of jacket.

To thine own self be true.

And enjoy yourself. Stop worrying about what other people think.

minimalist to the max. I can buy shampoo anywhere, and who needs a blow-dryer?

I pack like I'm going away for 4 weeks, even if it is only for 1, lol. My husband used to get so pissed!!

Hope you had a great time!

Have fun!

Ummm...I pack too many books. I turn into a walking library. LOL! Drive my DH crazy when he has to carry the luggage.

I always overpack. Too many shoes (naturally!), too many shirts/blouses/tops. Never enough jeans/pants, though. As disorganized as I am, I usually start packing days in advance, though; I'm kinda freakish that way. I have so many meds and other health-related stuff I can't forget, that I get anal about doing it.

It depends on where I'm going, though. If we're traveling back to the Midwest to see family, I don't pack nearly as much because I know I can do laundry (and buy more college gear at Steve and Barry's!)

If we're going California for a beach trip, again, not too much stuff as we really need is swimwear and coverups.

Through many years of over packing I have learned lately that if you forget something there is always a Walmart around to buy it!

Have a great time!

whew - i was getting worried while reading the comments, afraid i was the only female that has to take thirty choices of clothing because goddess KNOWS what i'll be in the mmod to wear, and the weather might change and i have to have my shoes with me everywhere i go - i mean duh.

Hubby just about fainted recently when we left for an overnight stay and i had everything in one single bag. Ya woulda thought the world was ending with his over the top reactions. I CAN pack light - if i have to. At least once in my life.

Mr Pop was in the Navy. He can pack three closets full of clothes into a carry-on bag. It's amazing and there are no wrinkles. I on the other hand am not as good. I always take more clothes than I need because I never know what my mood might be when I am getting dressed.

Hope you had fun! And since when do ducks wear shirts and pants? Donald Duck never wore pants and he only seemed to have one shirt.
