Its almost like your here

Yes, the luggage did finaly show up, at about 11 AM or so. I don't think the wife or I have ever been so excited to see clothes that were not new before. Plus, new underwear is always a plus.

Its 80 degrees down here suckers!

Alrighty, that was harsh.

Golf tomorrow, and you will all be glad to know that Mrs Duck did get to do some shopping to, though more of the window shopping variety. But you can't just get a house on a whim, Well unless your name was Trump or Hilton or McNabb.

And yes, USAir still sucks. I may sign off each post with that, just because it makes me feel a little better.

Not only is it NOT 80 degrees here, but the rain will start late tonight and continue until the Ark is finished.

Then, there's the Phillies.

To paraphrase W.C. Fields, "On the whole, I'd rather have USAir lose my luggage in South Carolina than be in Philadelphia."

at least today.

How far is Hilton Head from Myrtle Beach? If you're not too far and you get tired of golf (yeah, yeah, stop laughing) there's a place called Brooklawn Gardens (I think that's the name). It's either in MB or a town or two up from it, but it's a really cool place to visit. Basically it's just gardens and trees coverd in Spanish moss and statues everywhere, plus a petting zoo, but it's a nice place to walk around and get some nature. If I remember right, it's an old plantation. Nice gift shop, good food. And a golden statue of the Greek God Dionysus and one of Goddess Diana. Kinda makes me wish I was Wiccan back then; I would have appreciated that more. At least I got a photo :)

I am jealous. You are mean. I hope you have a great vacation. (My husband would also be jealous of the golf!)

Live it up!

Can you believe i've never been to Hilton Head and it's only a few hours away. My sis goes every year and says it's gorgeous down there.

Glad to hear that the luggage finally made it's way over there. Maybe it took the scenic route?

After last weekend's cold front, it's warming up nicely here too. I jsut hope it stays that way now. None of the back and forth crap with the thermometer please. Have fun!
