Pick Your Poison #2

A little bit late, but you could mix one of these bad boys up for Pops, if you were so inclined.

The Disney Kungaloosh

1 cup strawberry daiquiri mix
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup spiced rum
1/4 cup blackberry brandy

1. Toss it in a blender.
2. add enough ice to make it slushy.
3. Blenderize do not liquify.
4. You want slushy.

I got this one from recipezaar, a really good recipe website.

Bacardi Volcano

1/2 juice of one lime
6 oz coca cola
4 oz light rum
2 oz everclear or vodka

put the lime juice and rum in a shaker with ice. Mix and then pour into a glass. Top with the coca cola and then stir lightly. Top with the vodka or everclear. If using everclear, apparently you can set it on fire. I don't reccomend it though.

Everclear?! I haven't see that since college! Harry Buffalo parties and all...

For Pops? Hell no! Hubby doesn't drink, so I'd be mixing these up for moi, thank you very much...

Have a great weekend, Sparky. Hope the missus's knee is better.

BTW - I never mentioned it, but great wedding photos!

Set it on fire eh?

Last Thursday you answered my TT13 Q’s with numerical answers. Just thought you might like to take a look, I’ve posted the results of at Any Apples.

I remember the Koongaloosh! They serve it at the Adventurer's Club at Pleasure Island. Wow, that takes me back to the late and post college dating days. PI was not bad for FL residents and WDW cast members, 7 or 8 clubs for like $10 or $12, and over-priced watered-down theme-park adult drinks!

I'm not really sure if I can get behind an alcoholic beverage with Disney in the name.

Can't say Disney's in this name, but the classic line from Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean :Curse of the Black Pearl, was "Why is the rum gone?"

Disney and Pleasure Island came to mind again last night at dinner when my sister-in-law asked Amy and me about the name of the matchmaker service through which we met (www.matchmaker.com).

I had met and dated 2 or 3 other ladies before I met Amy and one of those I took to PI for dinner and clubbing once or twice.
