Tomorrow Is my Super Bowl

And while I am sure any of my faithful readers know who I am in the bag for, it is still so super exciting. Things could change tomorrow and dammit, I really need it. So, as we prepare for the biggest vote since Clinton Bush, let us look back on some great presidential moments, fictional and factual.

Hyperion inspired me today, and I realized that Aaron Sorkin is kind of brilliant and kind of predicted this moment in time 6 years ago with the Santos candidacy. But, Sorkin was also all over the American President, which is where we start tonight.

Pandering for Charity-Mila Kunis

***Sticky Post****

Another time where we here at Philly Transplant are going out to show some skin and raise a little money. Though, that last sentence does not sound that above board. In any case, its all a nice tie in, after seeing Forgetting Sarah Marshall< on Friday and with it being Mothers Day, raising funds for the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

So, for every click on this page, featuring Mila Kunis, from now until midnight on Sunday, May 18th, I will donate a quarter to the Komen Foundation. So, everybody wins, even me, since doing a search for Mila Kunis pictures can be a lot of fun.

Yes, a Forgetting Sarah Marshall Movie Review

First words out of Mrs Duck's mouth, cute. I would think that right there would be a ringing endorsement. Especially since in most circles, this movie was a romantic comedy with lots and lots of testetosterone.

Jason Segal plays a music composer for a television show, a knock off of CSI Miami and he is dating the hot female star of the show Kristen Bell. Until she dumps him, while naked by the way. For the faint of heart, there is alot of Jason Segal naked in the first 20 minutes of the movie.

So, after some random sex with random chicks, Segal's character shoots off to Hawaii. Turns out Bell and her new boyfriend are there as well. The sexiness of Mila Kunis and the hijinks ensue.

The movie was actually a romantic comedy with some laughs for guys. Russell Brand, who plays Arliss Chris, Bell's new rock star beau, nearly stole the entire movie. He will be the one that I most pay attention to when I watch the movie on DVD, because I am sure he had some hilarious throw away lines that we missed. The only drawback character wise was Jonah Hill's Matthew character. A one trick pony that became old very quickly.

Overall, probably worth seeing in the theaters and definetly a video rental!

Race for the Gold Dude

This time of year is a time full of predictions. Heck, March Madness is right around the corner, which means everyone get your pencils ready for the office pools. And while I do have a prediction in politics, I figure I should let it sit and wait until a post that someone may read.

Tonight its the Oscars. I can predict one thing that Mrs Duck & I agree on, Jon Stewart will do a capable job. It wont be stellar, but we will chortle.

Other than that, the Mrs and I dont agree too much when it comes to movies, so we had a little contest, Predict the Oscars. I will give you 12 predictions from her and 10 predictions from me, and you can laugh at one of us tomorrow.

I Maybe Ancient...

but, watching Knocked Up, I actually feel a bit too old for the movie. How freaking scary is that. Though I actually find the term "opening credit bush" to be humuorous. Are we sure this movie is done by the same people as Wedding Crashers??

Halloween Hotness #5

Starr your resident Vintage Goth here, and today I am taking a bit of liberty with my final choice of Halloween/Gothic Hotness. It's more a group effort. Ladies, Gentlemen, Transexuals... I bring you the male cast of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

First up Baby Eddie Who Didn't Love His Teddy. LOVE. HATE. Greaser Hotness! And Dr. Scott...or should I say Dr. Von Scott! He's fusty, he's in a chair, he rocks a garter!

Willkommen!

Who can forget the resident A-Hole of Denton? Brad Majors. Check out those...glasses!
Frank spent 7 days to make a man and this is what he has to show for it.

And last but, never ever least, we have Riff Raff and Dr. Frank N Furter. Friends. Enemies, Frenemies. Riff with his flowing blonde locks and mobile, side swapping hunchback and Frank with his fierce fashion sense. Who else could have pulled off those pink gloves. Work it, Frank!

Now, I was supposed to come up with something, some hotness that could match the amazing specimens that are the men of Rocky Horror Picture Show. Now, while I will throw up a Christina Ricci picture.

For my money there is no way she compares with the cult schtick that is Rocky Horror, even if shhhh, I do not like the movie.

I just hope everyone had a safe Halloween and I want to thank Starr for her participation. I think she may just stay on here as a contributor, just because she brings that extra special ummph.

Thursday Thirteen #54-The Witch One

Thirteen Famous Witches

Here is the prerequisite Halloween themed Thursday Thirteen, as we focus on well known witches. And amazingly, not everyone of them is hot.

1. Ann Boleyn-Henry VIIIths second wife, she was beheaded, ostensibly because the king was sick of her. But she was called a witch because she could not bear the King a son.

2.Isobel Goldie-Living in the 1600's, it is said that she had wild sexual escapades with the devil who had initiated her into the art of witchcraft. She confessed this several times but many thought that it was just a story she had made up and that it was just a game that had gotten out of hand. She was probably hung.

3.The Three Witches from Macbeth- They created evil magic in their cauldron to encourage Macbeth to kill the King and seize the throne.

4.Medea- In Greek mythology helped her Husband capture the golden Fleece. She committed several murders including those of her own children.

5.The Witch of Sleeping Beauty
-A story written by the brothers Grimm. The plot revolves around a beautiful young princess who pricks her finger on a evil witches spindle, falls asleep and can only been awoken by the kiss of a stranger.

6.The Witch of Rapunzel
-Another Brothers Grimm tale, its the story of a jealous witch who has imprisoned the lovely Rapunzel in a tower and who uses her hair to climb to the top.

7.Samantha of Bewitched
-The kooky main character of a TV Show that marries a witch and a mortal man and sticks them in the suburbs. Hilarity ensues.

8.The Blair Witch-A fictional legend that apparently runs around the woods of Western Maryland. The legends was turned into a movie that somehow was very popular, though after watching the first 20 minutes, I do not know how.

9.The Witches of "The Craft"
-A teen angst movie from the 90's, about the unpopular girls who actually develop supernatural powers. Somehow, I think it would be dangerous for the cool kids if the nerdy girls get supernatural powers.

10.Eglantine Price of Bedknobs and Broomsticks
-Played by Angela Landsbury, this is a 1970's Disney movie about a witch, her three orphaned nieces and nephews and a magician who travel across Europe on a Magic Bed. Yes, its a Disney Movie.

11.The Wicked Witch of the West
-The villain character in the Wizard of Oz. She is out to steal back the silver/ruby slippers back from Dorothy and will do whatever it takes to get them back, including sending flying monkeys. The Wicked Witch just can't shower. She is also a main character in the Broadway hit & Novel, Wicked.

12.Willow Rosenberg-I guess she is the best known Witch from the Television Series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Since I have never seen a full season of the show, I would be guessing. She is cute though.

13.The Halliwell sisters of Charmed
-The three, then fourth sister when Shannen Doherty left/got fired, that were the heroes of Charmed. They used the power of 3 to make there magic work. They also used the power of skimpy clothing, but that is a story for another Thursday Thirteen.

Born on Hotness Sept 18 For the Ladies

First off, a real quick apology for not stopping by and saying hello to all those blogs and blogging buddies that I usually stop by and check on. I have been spending almost all of my online time the last few days trying to get some workable employment. But, I hope to stop by before bed.

Anyway, since the Quarterback challenge seemed to be lacking in some sizzle, I am trying a new thing. Though I think I will still have some form of the hottest QB over the weekends. Anyway, I will be showing some pictures of some fellows that I might think of as hot and collect your opinion with the new Born on Hotness feature. So now I will try to not just show hottie starlets, but hottie guy birthday boys. And of course, you will get to vote in the corner.

Our first duo of the day, born on September 18th.

1.James Marsden Born in 1974. He is best known as Cyclops from the X-Men Trilogy, but was also a Versace Model.

and

2.Sol Campbell, also born in 1974. Sol is an English soccer star who once played for the World Class Arsenal team and is now playing for Porstmouth.

So, who is Mr September 18th?

Louisiana Hottie, The Late Night Edition

I no longer watch as much "adult entertainment" as I used to. You know, age does affect everyone in some way or another. But when I was younger, I think I covered as much porn as I would have needed to for the next 20 years. So, I guess I am still ahead of the game.

Yes, i know, TMI.

But, as I was searching the IMDB for my hottie of the day from Louisiana, I found out that one of my all time faves was born there. So, while I could not pick Stephanie Swift as the 50 in 50 hottie from the Bayou State, because I have my rules about porn stars and stuff like that, I could still share at least a little glimpse of her, couldn't I? Well, sure I could, its my blog.

50 States 50 Hotties Wisconsin, plus another bonus

The land of cheese and Favre is todays state we get into. I do not find it surprising at all the 3 of the 4 early choices for todays hottie were blond. I hope it is just some sort of coincidence and not an aryan plot to rule the world with cheese.

Did you know Charlotte Rae of the Facts of Life was born in Wisconsin?

Oh no, shes not the hottness though.

Heather Graham was born January 29, 1970 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The lovely Miss Graham is best known for her roles in one of the Austin Powers movies as well as Boogie Nights, a better movie then it sounded like it would be. She also accentuated her hotness on Scrubs in 2005. I did have to be careful with pictures, because it seems Miss Graham is not that modest in most of her movies.

Oh yea, and the Andel is at it again. Check out her Thursday Thirteen this week for some more eye candy if you are of the female persuasion. All NC-17 rules apply.

Becoming Jane-3 Quacks

Over the weekend, Mrs Duck and I ventured out to the movie theater, to see Becoming Jane starring Anne Hathaway and James McAvoy. We were in one of those smaller theaters, but it was jam packed, and I could count on one hand the amount of guys in the room. But, those guys that dropped there girlfriends off and went to see Transformers again, actually missed something quite good.

The movie is loosely based on the younger life of Jane Austen, who really needs to further introduction or follow up. Hathaway did an excellent job of portraying the young Austen with some spirit, but also the beginnings of being a hopeless romantic. I found the way that they showed the creative process of Austen quite interesting. Someone as talented as her still had a fragile self confidence when it came to her writing. And in one part, the switch of expressions of Hathaway from when she is just dancing at a ball to dancing with the one she has an attraction for was priceless. Hathaway has grown up from the bumbling character in Princess Diaries.

The movie was beautifully shot and the soundtrack really got you sucked into the story even deeper. Plus, you could see how Austen may have based some of her most famous works off her experiences growing up, because some were just too similar.

The movie may have been a tad long, I could have clipped 5 minutes here or there of trudging through the woods or cleaning up slop, but most of the time was needed to introduce the characters and make the plot expand even more. I never looked at my watch.

Now, I knew the end, because I am a history geek. But, Mrs Duck was not that up on every facet of Austen's life, so be sure to bring a hankie if you do see it.

Becoming Jane=3 quacks out of 4

-

Oh and be prepared for a glowing review of My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult in the weeks to come. I picked the book up yesterday around 9 or so and could not put it down until 1 in the morning when my eyes finally gave out. Love this book already.

Which is Better?

To be adequate at many many things or to be really good and talented at one specific thing? I have been off on this tangent because I guess I have been hanging around too many talented people. Though, really, this has been in my head since that last trip to New York. Its caused me to wonder whether I am just a cog in the wheel. You know, like in The Matrix, except I am not fighting to get out of the slime?

I cook, but I don't make up things. When I share poetry, its nothing of my own doing, its just copyright infringement. I mean, I don't really mind if that's the way its supposed to be, there have to be people buying the books, listening to the music and eating the food of a gourmet chef.

Though honestly, this question has become more confusing to me because they actually produced a movie called Daddy Day Camp and actually released it to theaters. If someone thinks that crap is some how entertaining, maybe it ain't all as bad as I think.

Blogathon 15.48 All I got...

Is One Fine Day. Now, I am not going to argue, Michelle Pfeiffer is beautiful and George Clooney is his sauve self, and yes I know easy on the eyes. But, we pay all this money for DirecTV and this is all that is on? Even my old stand by ESPN let me down, I like track and field, but I do not necessarily like track and field in Spanish, just because you have to concentrate on it the whole time, as opposed to just glancing up when they say they are on the last lap. So, maybe I need to just stare more at Michelle Pfeiffer.

Nice little quote from the movie:

Jack (George Clooney)-You are an arrogant ball juggler baby
Michelle Pfeiffers character-If you don't want your balls juggled, stop throwing them in my face.

Risque or am I just a manly duck?

Yep, More on Michael Moore

If you missed it yesterday, we had a nice debate on the Mrs Duck post about Sicko and the healthcare system in general. It was gratifying to have a sharing of thoughts, and it was also nice to see that it did not evolve into name calling. Well, there was some name calling, but that was on my part and I was making fun of famous people. They get paid big bucks so they have to live with a little name calling.

Anthony and Wylie said some things that were much more eloquent then anything I am about to ramble off right now, but they both got me to thinking as well.

People hate Michael Moore, hate him with a blinding passion, mostly because of his political leanings, but also because of Fahrenheit 9/11 and the timing of the release of the picture. I understand that, I hate that blonde bimbo columnist with a blinding rage. But, she is solely and completely political. She admits it, relishes it and I understand it. But look at who Michael Moore has usually attacked in his movies, more corporations then political people.

-Michael and Me=General Motors and the rest of the automobile companies.
-Bowling for Columbine=The NRA, Gun Manufacturers and Wal-Mart
-Fahrenheit 9/11=Ok, we know who...
-Sicko=Health Insurance Companies, Pharmaceuticals and the Government as a whole, blue as well as red.

Four movies, one highly political, three others more informative to how the wool is being pulled over the public's eyes by the wealthy. Now consider this.

Tom Hanks is one of the top 10 actors living in America. I would even say top 5 living American actors, but since Rober Redford and Paul Newman are still alive, though not acting, Hanks is in the Top 10. Watch Big and try not to laugh. Watch Philadelphia and try not to cry. Watch Sleepless in Seattle and try not to get lucky later. This man can act his way out of a paper bag, in fact one of his roles he got nominated for, at least I think, was while acting with a volleyball.

But, Tom Hanks has also done some dog movies. The Man with One Red Shoe still doesn't make sense to me now and the movie is at least 15 years old. Bonfire of the Vanities is one of the biggest dog bombs of the 1980's and 1990's. Some of his movies people just did not like.

Here is the question. Take the idea that it is a movie you won't like out of the equation. Like I will never be caught seeing a horror/slasher flick, no matter if Tom Hanks is in it and Scarlett Johanson promises to be naked in it. But, I will say I don't like horror movies as my reasoning.

How many people do you know that will not go see a Tom Hanks movie now because he did Bonfire of the Vanities 15 years ago? Answer that the next time you consider ignoring a Michael Moore movie.

50 Hotties 50 States-Michigan

When it comes to locations, Ohio and Michigan go together like coke and pepsi, mcdonalds and burger king, Kennedy and Nixon, so the jump to Michigan for me was an easy one. And while Kristen Bell maybe thought of as hotter by some people, I am going to one of my favorites of all time.

Sherilyn Fenn was born February 1, 1965 in Detroit, Michigan. She is best known for her appearances in Twin Peaks, but if you want to really see more of her, rent the steamy Two Moon Junction sometime.

Mrs Duck Returns:Movie Review-Sicko 3 quacks

We saw Sicko by Michael Moore on Friday night. Now before my conservative friends out there go into a crazed tizzy, the movie does a fine job of skewering both parties and shows how the healthcare system is a mess, no matter who you will vote for. Yes, there are a couple of the shrubs excellent quotes, including the OBGYN one, a personal favorite of mine, but its not a Republican Bashfest. The first hour and a half cruises along and gives alot of information. The Cuba part, which Michael Moore got in trouble for, was kind of a waste of time. Comic relief I guess. But, I highly reccomend it.

And now, in the italics, will be the thoughts of the brillant and beautiful, Mrs Duck.

“The American Dream” should really be called “American Greed”. How do we as Americans except that the United States has the worse health care system in the world? I mean here we are approaching the worse health care crisis ever and what do we care about? Me Me Me!

I am a 36 year old with a 60 year old mother, who luckily is quite healthy. How many of us have parents that are Baby Boomers or are Baby Boomers themselves? How is your health? Could your pocket book survive this healthcare system? We have a huge problem! We have a healthcare system that is completely unethical. Preventive care is non-existent and the abuse of the Pharmaceutical industry is mind blowing! How about all of our parents and not to mention ourselves that have pre-existing medical conditions?

We now depend on our jobs to not only provide a roof over our heads, food on the table, but also to pay for our ridiculously outrageous healthcare. We work too hard to accept this.

Talk about STRESS! I now have 80% coverage and god forbid my husband or I have some major health crisis! We will be responsible for 20% of the bill; and if the healthcare system we are covered under claims that this is a pre-existing condition we will be stuck with the total cost. Healthcare should never bankrupt anyone! And the reality is that it can and will bankrupt too many of us!

Wake up AMERICA! We need to demand that the Insurance companies are brought under control – what about them being not for profit? What about them not controlling who gets care and who doesn’t. Gasp! I know this sounds SHOCKING!

Pharmaceuticals do good for many people, but the mark-up is outrageous and totally unacceptable. How unacceptable is that we have Pharmaceutical companies running 3 to 4 minute commercials and 3 page magazine ads advertising drugs. Is there no end to this behavior?

I say to my husband all of the time that we need someone to run for office that does not care about what the party thinks. Shocking Thought! The President, Congress and Lobbyist should not be in bed with major companies. Companies should never dictate what the American people need. I stress NEED!

How can Hillary Clinton accept donations from the Healthcare Insurance Companies when they made such a mockery of her in the 90’s? It is such a disgrace what politicians will do to get the vote. Hillary has lost my vote, she made a mockery of a fight that is so worth winning.

Here is the question, if every other modern country in the world can make socialized medicine work; why can’t we? Our government needs to stop brain washing Americans with lies and distractions and really start to fix this healthcare crisis. We as voters need to demand better!

Coach Duck grants an interview meme

Editors noted: The ownership is the human form of me, the feathered Coach is my alter ego. Though I will be as honest as I can be answering questions, you needed this information for any of the lead up to make sense. Yes, I probably need to be medicated.

Coach Duck came sauntering into the side room at Franklin Field, not really to pleased about being dragged away from his vacation on the Galapagos Islands. He was the coach of a fantasy football team, who would care what his thoughts were? But the Ownership of the Blue Ducks said it would be good for merchandising, the fact that he was sitting down with a couple of bloggers that skewed to the woman's point of view would get Blue Ducks aprons and sweatshirts and mock cheerleaders outfits sold. So our feathered friend scoured as he looked across the table at Tug and awaited her questions.

1. Are you like your cousin Donald Duck & don't wear any pants?
Puhlease, of course I wear pants. You think that I could walk around Philadelphia and not wear pants? And I must say, Donald is a distant distant cousin. The family resemblence is quite small, ending at the fact that we are both ducks. Next Question!

2. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? Why?
*taking a deep cleansing breath* If I could live anywhere in the world, it would be Wailea, Hawaii. The stress is non existent their, the weather is gorgeous and everyone just seems so friendly and happy. It may have been because we paid them gads amount of money when we visited last, but to me its the perfect place.

3. You're having a dinner party, and anyone you invite WILL be there. Name 6 people you would invite - dead or alive. (It's a fantasy, so I included dead people)
Well, to be sure I don't get shot with an arrow when this is published, I am going to assume that Mrs Duck will already be there and not count her amongst the 6. Don't like it? Too Bad, its my question. So, in no particular order.
1.Bill Clinton-THE GREATEST PRESIDENT EVER
2.Tony Kornheiser-He is a brillant, humorous writer, plus he knows sports.
3.Frank Lloyd Wright-An American genius
4.Scarlett Johansson-Everyone needs a little eye candy
5.Bruce Springsteen-my musical hero while I was growing up.
6.Adolf Hitler-Just so I could ask him what in god's name was he thinking

4. If you could only watch one sport for the rest of your life, what would it be? *the duck looked down, dressed in his football coaching outfit and gave a blank stare* Please, Ms. Tug, Football is a game of combat, a battle of wills. Plus, it makes great great television. No contest.

5. What do you want to be remembered for?
Hmm, I wish to be rememebered for being a great husband, a terrific father, even if it is only to a bunch of kittens, which, by the way, would make me very very happy and to be remembered as someone who was always their for their friends when the chips were down, whether they were online friends or in person ones.

Now, if you have nothing else, I have another interview waiting. I hope the people of Hell, er I mean Colorado enjoy learning more about me. And with that and a flutter of blue the Duck was gone.

The Coach stomped out, hoping he did better the his friend Charlie Manuel in front of the press as he came across the Southern reporter from No Accent Yet. Now this interview was important, since there were internet rumors about the team moving to the Carolinas in the next few years. Though, how hard could this interview be, it had been reschueled once because Tiff was sore from her tattoo.

1) Your best friend is a goat named Emu. How do you explain this to your Mom?
Well, my mom has met my ex wife, so I don't know if their would be much explaining necessary. But, I would just say that he has always been a good friend to me, never questions my decisions and no we are not having sex.

2) Mint chocolate chip ice cream. Would you eat it before all other flavors or only if there WERE no other flavors?
Oh thats an easy one. I only like mint in my mojitos. And the frozen chocolate chips makes my beak hurt when I bite down on them, so only if there were no other flavors.

3) Ever seen a real two-headed calf?
Depends on what you mean by real. During my summers in Wildwood, there was a Ripley's Believe it or Not stand, and I could have sworn there was a two headed calf in formaldahyde. Though it could have been a goat.

4) It's summertime, and you're going on a picnic with your wife. What do you pack, and where do you go?

Oh, this is a very tough question. I can't keep mentioning Maui as my fantasy destination. So, I would pack some a muffaleta salad, a bottle of riesling, some baked brie en croute, that was magically warm when we got there and as a nod to my lovely wife, I would find the place where Much Ado About Nothing was filmed in Tuscany and have the picnic there.

5) Do you like triangles or circles better? Why?

Another tough one, but that is because I picture myself as a witch. I would pick a circle, because a circle is where witches get all their power from. A closed circle is much more powerful then just casting a spell all by yourself, because you draw off the power of others around you. Plus, stadiums are usually some sort of circle.

Now, the official stuff:
If anyone else wants to play along:

Leave me a comment saying, “Interview me.”
I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
You will update your weblog with the answers to the questions.
You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

An Inconvenient Truth-3 Quacks

A few weeks back, we TiVo'd an Inconvenient Truth, actually just before the Academy Awards, to see if it really was that good. And actually, it was.

Now, I will preface this by saying that I voted for Al Gore. I helped campaign a little for Al Gore back in 2000. I read his book, the Prince of Tennessee. So I am an Al Gore fan. There were parts of the movie that I did find boring, when discussing some of his upbringing and his early political career, but that was because it was all information that I knew very well already. But if you dont know Mr Gore, these segments helped to show that he is not a Johnny Come Lately on the subject of Global Warming and the environment.

The actual discussion of Global Warming was laid out in a way that was very easy to understand. CO2 in the air is keeping more of the suns rays in the atmosphere, causing the earth to stay warmer. There were also some points that truly caused fear, especially the sights of the floods if some of the ice caps at either Pole melted.

But, the best information I got was how the Baby Boomer generation is the genertion that might be most to blame. They are excessive and also opposed to change. And taking a quick little survey of my neighborhood and there parked cars, except for 2 work cars that are probably purchased by the companies that my neighbors work for, most of the American made cars parked around here are foreign cars, which give better gas mileage and are more reliable. No one can dispute that a Toyota or a Honda is better then a Pontiac.

It all comes down to making changes in your own life and also not allowing big business to block things, because overall the United States is one of the worst offenders when it comes to waste and not doing things green. And the movie made all of this perfectly clear. Its a must watch for anyone who is interested in why the weather might be screwy and how we may be able to change it.

On a side note, while I can not say whether the Melissa Etheridge penned theme song was worthy of an Oscar, it did remind me of some older Melissa Etheridge tracks and I promptly downloaded it to the Ipod, just because it was an enjoyable song.

Music & Lyrics-3 quacks

Last night was another movie and burgers night in the Duck home, and the choice was an easy one, Music and Lyrics. Mrs Duck is a huge Hugh Grant fan and I like both Hugh and Drew Barrymore, especially when she lets her goofy out.

Overall, it was a formulamatic romantic comedy, but it was exactly what you like about Romantic comedies. Boy meets girl, falls in love, achieves goal, loses girl and finds her again. The perfect mindless fun.

Plus, the movie also told the truth about pop music, it can make you happy, even though it is usually fluff. And considering I am a musicphile, it hit home with me. While my Ipod is filled with Evanescence, Sarah and Springsteen, there is nothing like a good pop song on a Friday afternoon while driving along the highway. Hence, I also am a closet Justin Timberlake fan.

The only quibble is I wish they were able to get one of those tween pop stars to be the pop star in the movie that Hugh and Drew are writing for. It would have been nice to see one comfortable enough to make fun of themselves, but Haley Bennett, who can obviously sing, did a fine turn.

On a sidenote, I have absolutely no opinion on tonights Oscar's because I haven't seen too many of the movies besides The Queen. I hope Scorscece wins, just so he is no longer the best director in the world that has never won an Oscar before. Beyond that, I could care less who wins.
