Today is not a good day for my sinuses. First, it is ragweed season, which is just a killer. Then the landscapers decided to come and cut the grass, causing that weed and seed of the grass to go flying into the air as well. All I need for it to just be a priceless day is a bag of pollen and 30 year old dust to be placed in the houses ventilation system and I will be absolutely peachy keen.
Good news is on the way though. There was a 3 hour rain delay in Pittsburg today. Why is that good news? Well Pittsburgh rain almost always finds us here in Philly, so things may die down for a day or two.
I cant take a nap, though I really do want too :<

This weeks list, 13 of my guilty pleasures, things that I would not exactly volunteer freely, though now I am admitting it arent I? 1.My vices:Camel Ultra Lights and Vodka Martinis with 3 olives. There is nothing like a smoke right after that first cup of coffee and nothing like a Martini after a stressful Friday. 2.The Dr. Phil Show: Yes, its an Oprah knockoff, though I think of it as a Donahue knockoff, but I still have the TiVo going when its got some sort of interesting guests on. And now, with the Dr. Phil House, there is even more of a chance of eruptions and Texan homespun wisdom. 3.This show drives Mrs. Duck crazy but, Judge Judy. Mrs. Duck thinks she's rude and shrill. Honestly, that probably what I love about the dang thing. Plus, it gives me a slight taste of the NY attitude I was used to growing up with, yet I can turn it off, something I didnt get to do growing up. 4.Books by Laurell K. Hamilton. I actually am leaning a bit more towards the Merry Gentry series, but Anita Blake has more books to read. Now this is a guilty pleasure because the main characters of both her books are usually hotter if there males as opposed to females. They are kind of like Romance novels with lotsa blood. 5.Mike and the Mad Dog on the Fan!. I grew up listening to these two characters, out of the first major Sports Talk radio station. They have lost a bit of there edge as they have gotten older, but they still can be hilarious and brillant sports wise all in the same show. 6.The Oregon Ducks especially Ducks football. I am a rabid fan of this team. I will still stay up until 1 am just to watch the West Coast games. And don't get in front of me during the fourth quarter of a close game. 7.Eeyore!! I love this little gloomy gus of a character, even though I am almost 34 years old. I think it might be because he reminds me of me a little bit, at least in my college years for sure. Plus, really, I think Eeyore might be the 1st Goth. 8.Stuffed Animals in general. I think there is a part of me that still thinks I am freeing them from there terrible existence in a Hallmark store. I know its strange, but thats why it would be a guilty pleasure right? 9.Clay Aiken. Yes, he is the new Barry Manilow. Yes, he is probably a bit wiggly. Yes, he looks like Howdy Doody in that new haircut. The boy can still sing! 10.Yes, all guys love Paris Hilton, or at least they would take a long look at her, or Halle Berry or even Uma Thurman, but I just love Tiffani Amber Thiessen. She was really good at being Bad on 90210, and that kissing of a girl scene on "Fastlane" was my first glimpse at girl on girl action. 11.WWE Smackdown vs Raw for the Playstation 2. I DONT watch wrestling, but the game is freaking awesome. And so easy to play. Its an electronic soap opera for guys! 12.Cloisonne Lapel Pins, another hobby that Mrs. Duck hates, because I have these suckers stacked all over the place, yet I havent filled my first shadow box yet. But, its the little collectable I can always find no matter where I go on a trip. 13.Degrassi: The Next Generation. A lovely little teen steam drama on the N imported from Canada. I should be a bit worried actually since I know its on The N. But, the writing is better then 90210 or Saved by the Bell, the acting a bit cheesy and I may be a dirty old man, but some of the chicks are hot. Links to other Thursday Thirteens! 1. Though, deep down I still do not totally believe that T.O. would attempt to commit suicide. Now I am not a medication expert or anything like that. But, from what limited knowledge I do have, I am sure pain killers can make you depressed in some way, especially if you are already a tad bit unstable, which no one can dispute. I hope its not true, because for all his faults, T.O. is still a great player, and deep down I still think he can be a very good teammate. I might be a bit polyanna though.

Its amazing how you can not see someone for such a long time and fall right back into the friendly barbs and nicknames like you see them everyday.
Mrs. Duck and I made the trip to NJ, a long trip it was actually. Though I did take the scenic tour to get there, showing her some of my old stomping grounds and haunts. Though things have changed some actually, alot less farmland then I remembered.
The occasion for the trip was some of my old roommates christening for there youngest daughter. Well, youngest daughter is kinda silly since its there only daughter. And, on a sidenote, the priest that ran the ceremony seemed to be on the express lane service, since there was no pomp, circumstance, or even emotional attachment to the ceremony itself.
But, undigressing, my friends were very happy to see us and meet Mrs. Duck. Our conversations flowed and fell back into it like it was 10 years ago. Overall a great time, except for the fact that it feels like a long long trip!
So, apparently I have been tagged by Neila of Blog that Mommy and since I have found most of her posts quite humurous, as well as the fact that I do read more then the sports pages and blogs, I would do the lovely little meme.
Though lord knows im getting old, the mind is slipping some...
1.One Book that Changed your life:Hardest question First- Good gravy, this is a hard one, but of course it is since the question warned me that it is the hardest one! I cant really recall a book that was Boom! my life is different, but Superfudge by Judy Blume was a life changer, because it made me want to read, and keep reading. Its one of the first books I remember ripping through and being interested in what would happen next book
2.One book that you have read more then once- Well, I could cheat and say King Lear by Shakespeare since I had to read it once in High School for a class and once in College for a class, but that was not voluntarily. But, along those same lines was Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare, which I never had to read for a class, yet read 3 times. I just love it, the wittiness, and also the fact that sometimes I need a translator to get every word. Plus, I even loved the movie.
3.One Book that you would want on a Deserted Island- Something huge, but not dry and boring, which takes Moby Dick out of the mix. Though Charles Dickens Four Complete Novels (Great Expectations, Hard Times, A Christmas Carol, A Tale of Two Cities) by Charles Dickens would be a perfect book. You have something to celebrate the holidays with, and some other things that you could spend months on. Plus, I have never actually read Hard Times, so it would be something new.
4. One book that made you laugh outloud:-I have read plenty of books like this, alot of those so called "chick lit" books that Mrs Duck reads have made me chuckle, snort, smile, or have milk coming from my nose. But, for this list The Life of Reilly: The Best of Sports Illustrated's Rick Reilly by (naturally) Rick Reilly was a hilarious book. Yes, it was alot of articles that I had probably read before, but I still couldnt help myself but laugh at some of this brillant witty musings on sports.
5.One book that made you cry-Well, you would think that this would be a hard question to answer, but actually, A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks popped into my head quite easily actually. I think because it was about people that werent that much younger then me when I read it, and that I could transport myself into the couples situation, thats why I cried.
6.One Book that you wished you had written- Easy, Seabiscuit by Laura Hillenbrand. It's right in my wheelhouse, its a historical book, which is perfect being a history graduate. And, its about horse racing!! which I adore. I love those beautiful creatures. But, I do not think I could have written anywhere near as well as Ms. Hillenbrand did.
7.One book that you wish was never written:. Again, I am going to take some of those horrible books that I was forced to read in college and high school and just include a book that I read voluntarily. (Drumroll) The Devil Wears Prada: A Novel by Lauren Weisberger. This is sacriledge to Mrs. Duck, who loved this book. And she says that the evil boss is like alot of people in real life. To which I say, if I wanted to read about awful people in Real life, I would read a biography!!
8.One book you are reading at the moment: There are two, since I am currently between books and trying to decide which one to crack open. One is Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison. I love books about Vampires and Witches and occults and all that fun stuff. Yes, Im weird for a guy, but it is the perfect October book. The other option is Sunday Money: Speed! Lust! Madness! Death! A Hot Lap Around America with NASCAR by Jeff MacGregor a book about a year in Nascar. I have just been too lazy to go downstairs and find it.
9.One Book you have been meaning to read: Hmm, coincidentally I just did my Birthday list, so I have a few Ive been meaning to read. Though The Worst Person in the World: And 202 Strong Contenders by Keith Olbermann is the number one book on my list, so I would say its currently the book I have been meaning to read.
10.Five people you would like to see do this.-I am going to be nice, since its the weekend, so I am not going to directly tag anyone, but if someone wants to join in out of my sporadic readers, just let me know and ill list ya.
The Blue Ducks came back to earth last week, with a blow out loss to the Mood Swings. Warrick Dunn and Frank Gore again had very good games, but the 400 yards and multiple touchdowns put up by Archie's Older Son and the many kicks by Nate Kaeding (one of my draft day botches) was just too much to overcome. We lost by 32 I think.
This week is a huge divisonal showdown with the Ladyboys. And I am at a tough decison on who to start at QB. Rex Grossman ripped Detroit last week, so one would expect some great numbers from Brett Favre, but Hasselback is playing a Giants secondary that has looked hideous all year long. Any thoughts would be so welcomed.
So, Mrs. Duck and I were discussing Greys Anatomy, or at least a moment during the show while taking a TiVo break to clean up from our High Class Mickey D's dinner. She was railing against McDreamy, saying that he was being really unfair and that Addison apologized. For whatever reason, my but she cheated 1st defense, was not getting through. However, what did get through was, but if the shoe was on the other foot, McDreamy would be a snake. All Mrs Duck could do is smirk!
So, in life as in TV, there are double standards. And when it comes down to it, us men are just wrong!
While it has felt like fall pretty much the entire week, except for the weird almost 90 degrees on Monday, its now officially fall. Though honestly to me, as soon as Labor day passed and it became wall to wall football weekends, its been Fall. Anyways, on to the 10.

I have been up for almost 3 hours already, because I was freaking freezing. Ya see, I have to sleep with as little clothes as possible, though sorry not naked, because Mrs. Duck for whatever reason seems to get even more warmer as she sleeps. I mean, like steaming, sweating hot. So if I snuggle next to her, I would lose weight from sweating myself. Unfortunately, it causes me to lose my heat source when she gets out of bed to take a shower. So, freezing I was!! Plus little Miss Kittie had a hairball issues, causing the comforter to have Kittie um spit all over the place.
So, I am up because we are at that weird weather stage here in the Delaware Valley where it is too warm still to be all garbed up in jeans and winter clothes, but it is too cold to be running around in shorts and a T-shirt. Plus, this condo is like an Ice House. Shocking, I know, since there is so much wrong with this place in the first place.

And here is the followup. Mrs. Duck can tell you I have been quietly whining because I cant watch the Phillies on there drive for the wild card. "But, why Sparky? Your in the Philadelphia Area?" Well, thanks for asking. It appears Comcast got a perfect little carrot that makes sure Satellite TV will not get local coverage of the sports teams that are on there airwaves, holding CSN Philadelphia hostage. And guess what, its a law that only is in effect HERE! Check out Let our Phillies go! and sign the petition to Senator Specter to try and get the bill rescinded, so I can watch Ryan Howard, and Mrs. Duck can get her Flyers Fix.

You know its beginning to become easy to tell who both political parties are worried about and who they think will win. Lynn Swann, still floundering I assume, is still running the same campaign ad that was running over the summer. And its not even that good an ad, everyone knows who Lynn Swann is. Ive seen ads for both Wheldon and his Opponent, as well as for Fitzpatrick and his opponent, so that right there says it must be at least a race. Heck, we even get the NJ Senate race down here, though really the two candidates are very very entrenched in North Jersey politics.
However things are getting fun when we get a new Santorum ad. They are getting slimier and slicker, which must mean he's either not as close as he would like, or not as out in front as he would like. But The Coffee House | TPMCafe has done some digging on the ad, and as usual, its just plain wrong. Yes I know, we are all shocked (insert your favorite sarcastic look here). Now, we will know things are going bad for Slick Rick when either we see a Shrub appearance, or an ad where Casey eats kittens.
First words out of the Shrubs mouth at the UN, a reference to 9/11 and Islamic Extremists. So predictable is scary

Well, Celebrate one and all,ALA | Banned Books Week is coming next week.
Beyond its beauty, which I am going to begin sharing here, I took so many pictures I should have posts forever. And then there is the sandy beaches, near perfect weather and excellent food. But, there is also only a few Snakes. And one of the snakes that they do have sounds actually like some sort of huge worm, not exactly a threat to humanity. I was watching this show about Hawaii on the Discovery Channel and it seems the only other snake, that is at least legally there is the green tree snake (sp?) which seemed to just be around to be sure that they can train the "Snake Beagles" to look out for on the importing ships. Oh, and its another reason I love beagles, they want to stop one of my biggest fears.
Oh yes, I know this is not exactly the biggest problem to have, especially since we have just survived a long hot summer of reruns. Thank goodness for the Closer. Anyway, tonight starts the new fall season and the Tivo is going to be in overdrive.
First we have Two and a Half Men. Yes, not groundbreaking TV, far from it actually, but some of there throw away lines are very funny, and Charlie always does seem to find some hot chicks.
Mrs. Duck and I have been hooked in toVanished, which is a show that is really going nowhere, yet its like a really bad book your 200 pages into, you want to see the outcome, even if you dont care who lives or dies.
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip is the next choice for the night. Aaron Sorkin is a terrific writer, I would watch a TV show that he has written thats based off the Dominos Pizza menus, because he would find 18 ways to say the word pizza. Plus Matthew Perry, Amanda Peet and Bradley Whitford, perfection.
Oh, and theres another crazy DR Phil on UPN 57 oh wait CW 57, and also Deal or No Deal finding some way to drive you nuts by giving away 6 million dollars to some really greedy people.

OK, yes, maybe Pasinger jumped the onside kick a bit. But, it was darn close. And dont give me this they never recovered the ball nonsense, the whistle blows, the plays dead, no matter how much the ball rolls. Sooner fans, lets also remember one thing, your defense did NOTHING to stop the Ducks, which would have made this discussion mute.
Well, its seems that I have fallen behind on the hottie of the week, so I am going to give you a two for one. And, it certainly is a deviation from my normal category of chicks, since one is a dude. Yes, Ladies, one for you as well. And all with a philadelphia flavor.
Our 1st is AJ Feeley. Back with the Eagles this year, I remember him from Oregon back when Joey was at QB. Mrs Duck remembers him because she used to stop in front of the TV set when he was playing, apparently he is still cute. When I told her he was back with the Eagles, she stopped and gave an mmmmm noise. I just think he's better looking then Koy. But, I am better looking then Koy...
And then there was Heather. Our second hottie is Heather Mitts who makes Sporty Spice look like a German Shepherd. Blonde and Fit, now living, or at least last I heard living in San Diego, coincidently, her and AJ are a couple. Imagine the kids these two will have.

Ok, I have a slight confession to make. I dont actually live in Philadelphia. We are actually within walking distance of the Northeast Philadelphia border. So, Im not in the "City" itself, but Philly Transplant, a) sounds so much better and b) when I started this thing we were in Philadelphia.
Anyway, since we are right outside Philly, it is almost like we are in the wilds of the wilderness. I am not exactly the outdoorsy type. Ive never gone camping, even in my back yard. If I wanted to sleep under the stars, I would get some of those glow in the dark stars. You won't find any granola in our cupboard.
So, as the woods in our town continues to shrink, I am noticing more and more of our furry friends getting closer to my front door. So there I am visiting with Joe Camel, when I see a little snake, no big deal, but still a snake. Then next night, its 3 not so blind mice who have decided to build a home in the dirt of our garden. I just know as things get colder those little ba*&*%ds are going to try to get into the house. And the feline takes after her dad, shes not much of a hunter.
Now here is the icing on the cake. Outside this morning and the bushes start to shake and rumble not two feet away from me. Hey, there goes Mr. Groundhog. He or she is bigger then my cat, heck he may be bigger then Mrs. Duck!! Next time I see him, I think I am going to chase him down and ask him for my Lottery Tickets

After an 80 yard drive put together by the Wolfpack, the Zips promptly drive 70 yards the other way to score on a goal line dive with no time left. The Wolfpack fans react with the typical class of hillbillies and promptly begin flinging things on the field. Its your AD's fault, if your gonna pay for a patsy to come and play you, make sure its William and Mary, or Illinois and not an up and comer like Akron.
This game is going to be one of those games that whoever scores last will win, though I would think if I had to win a game, I would go with the Akron QB over the Wolfpack one.

Good God finally, the wolfpack comes through and gets the go ahead score, 5 minutes into the fourth quarter!! The best recovery was after the center snapped the ball over the Pack's QB's head, RB saved the drive with quick thinking. Though I still cant get why ESPNU's cameras actually make it feel like your watching the game from the parking lot.

We had a seriously violent night here in the Delaware Valley last night and it just continues to show how the Mayor and City Council is doing absolutely nothing to stop it. I also think that some of it, especially the strange almost drive by shootings, is definetly gang related. One of the latin gangs is already overruning Trenton and Camden, and there have been rumors of the Crips as well. In the end, its really just very very scary, because its creeping closer to Center City itself, and also sliding out into the Great Northeast, which is supposed to be the safest place.
One of the interesting or humorous things is the fact that some of these neighborhoods who have the worst violence have the cutest names. How bad does a place called Strawberry Mansion sound?
So, when I am not cruising craigslist or careerbuilder to try and find some employment, or doing my research for my fantasy football leagues, my brain tends to wander. What should I make for dinner? How quickly can it go from a drought to a flood? Does George Bush really not care about black people? On one of those flights of fancy, I fettered off into some matchmaking. I came up with a brilliant match actually. Right wingers need love to don't they?
So, a duo that could produce some really lovely and angelic children, blonde hair, blue eyes, god fearing children who curse and yell at you if you disagree with them at all. Oh, and are big for giving the finger when they are jeered. Anyway, a perfect combo would be Ann Coulter and the stuffy Christopher Hitchens. Think of it, the children would be ones that David Duke would drool over. So Aryan and Aristocratic all at the same time. Though you do hope for there sake that they pick up on there father's accent, makes the junk they would spew go down all the smoother.

One of the biggest pains in the arse when it comes to the holidays came up for Mrs Duck recently. First off, I have to say, its a bit early for everyone to be figuring out when they will be taking off for Christmas and New Years, but thats another story. Anyway, one of her coworkers always takes the entire week between Xmas and New Years off, as well as the day after New Years. Its great to ask for, but if you are in a work place that only on person can have off at a time for the holidays its quite unfair. And her reasoning, which is a reasoning that has always driven me mad, she has children and grandchildren.
And there in lies the rub actually. What is so special about the fact that some of us have children that they should expect to have the holidays off. I have a family someplace else and a family here, and I sure would like to spend time with them over the holidays. Just because your Momma or Grandpoppy doesnt mean Christmas is your time!
I told Mrs Duck to stand up for herself, to be sure to at least get the day after New Years off, just to make the her coworker have to come back, because in the end I just think its quite unfair!
So Im sitting here watching some VH1 Classic and who pops up but The Hooters one of Philadelphia's least appreciated bands. Looking at the video in comparison to the website, they have not aged too well, but it still is amazing how many great songs that first album had!

Ok, its a tricky title to the post, but would you honestly read a post that was titled the "Last Few Days"? I think not.
So, its been a busy few days actually. First was the trip, well two trips to Citizens Bank Park to watch the Phillies and the Mets. The first game was actually a speedy one, though with Jon Lieber and Tom Glavine pitching, I should not have been to surprised. The seats were great, and the game was just over two hours. Thanks Red for getting them.
The second day, was hot as all hell! Subway and I actually took the Subway, a totally different experience when it comes to Philadelphia, as opposed to New York. Its actually clean and there was room to sit. Plus, no homeless, though I can understand that one since it was hot and humid down there, probably safer on the street itself. A pleasant surprise on this visit was Bull's BBQ. Highly, Highly recommended!! The BBQ sauce actually tasted like something you would have down in Virginia or North Carolina, though now I am sorry I did not try the kielbasa sandwich. After catching up with the Father in Law and watching the Mets bomb the Phils in the sweltering heat, a shower and some relaxation was so needed.
Next stop was Champs Sports Bar. One word:overrated! Fox & Hound Restaurant is 10 times better, with better food and sightlines. Plus it was just for some exhibition football, how much fun can that really be?
Over the weekend, it was golf and more golf. I have to say, Tiger Woods is a phenomal player, probably the best that I will ever see. However, watching him is becoming dull. I still want to see him have to comeback and win a championship, something he still has not done yet, just ask Ben Curtis! In my own foibles on the golf course, I have to say there was good news as well as bad news. The good news, I shaved off 22 strokes from the last time I played. The bad, you say? Well it was still a 135 and I pulled some rib muscles in the process. Now I can surely say why its amazing that Nascar drivers do all that racing with rib and chest injuries. I thought I might curl up into the fetal position just making a simple left turn!
Lauren Houck, who I actually remember back from some of those FHM pictures with her friend in the shower, just seems to get better and better as time goes along. Enjoy.

Maurice Clarett was a brillant college football player, especially for the size he was. But, after his brillant freshman season, he made many many mistakes, that derailed the chances of a professional career. Now while I do throw a small percentage of blame on the NCAA, because there rules are so arcane, especially for an organization that takes in money hand over fist and still claims to have the atheletes best interest at heart, most of the blame does fall on Clarett, just because he did not mix with the right kind of people from day one. Anytime I would have heard that Suge Knight is involved, I think I might have steered clear as opposed to gotten entangled with him and some of his "interesting" friends.
Though somehow, for "Steven" I doubt that this was hilarious. Baby Girl found this picture and blog, and I for one am looking forward to some interesting reading today. It gives a peek into a womans psyche, plus, makes me count my blessings for Mrs Duck. I wouldnt have to go through all this humiliation, if I was this stupid. Though, I am sure my tirade is not going to send the stock crashing downward into some sort of spiral. I dont see CNBC posting headlines "Dow Tumbles on comments from a Blog" But, nevermind that! I really really think the McAfee and there Virus scan product is just a scam. All it does is suck up memory on my computer. Oh, and the amazingly annoying update your program now pop up items. Those are really really special. Now, I could be having one of those paranoid moments, but I swear, its just Bill Gates trying to figure out how many times I visit ESPN.com or Amazonwomenwholiftthings.com. I need to find a new virus program. I have already fallen in love with Firefox, and the next step to break away from the hold of "the man" will be replacing McAfee. Whose with me!!!!

Ok I have no idea if this is true or not, but I found this to be utterly hilarious. And just in case some of you dont have access to Myspace, heres the blog, chomped from Trista.
Today I met the person who lives directly behind me in my building. We share our bedroom walls, actually. Why is this important to you? Just let me tell my story, okay?
I have not been the most social neighbor since I moved into my building a year and a half ago. In fact, I have not socialized at all. Sure, I have exchanged niceties with a few people, especially the ones I see every day. But no lifelong bonds have been made here. So anyhow, yes, I finally met the person who lives in the apartment behind mine. Since our entrances are nowhere near each other we had not crossed paths. But today I was in the office of the building and it just so happened that she was too.
I had finished my business with the building manager and was leaving. She came out behind me. The following is our conversation, I am in red, she is in blue.
"You live in 50-1407?"
"Uh huh?" (Who is this chick and why is she following me?)
"I live right behind you, 50-1412."
"Oh, hey. How are you?" (Okay, what did I do?)
"Yeah, DIRECTLY behind you. Like we share a bedroom wall."
"Ummm...okay, cool..." (Okay, what the hell??)
"Yeah, my husband and I hear you sometimes..."
"..."(Oh fuck!)
"We hear you a lot, actually."
"Oh! Shit! Im sorry, shit. I...uhhh..." (Would it be bad to just run?!)
"No, dont be! This is going to sound so weird, but I have to say it. We, well, we owe you a lot."
"Owe me?" (Please don't tell me they taped me or something. Oh god! I wonder if the complained and got rent knocked off. I bet the entire building knows...50-1407, that's the loud sex girl!)
"This is so embarrassing, but heck, I am just gonna say it. Our sex life had pretty much disappeared. We did it a couple times a month still, but it was real boring. Then one night we were laying in bed and we heard you, well, going at it. We didn't know what it was at first, just a lot of banging noises. So we started listening harder and heard you shout out and stuff. Before I knew what was happening we were getting it on too! And it was good too!"

So that was my morning! Am I still going to have loud, enthusiastic sex in my bedroom? Yes, yes I am. But this is yet another reason why I am glad to be moving out of this building at the end of this month...
Last night was my first trip to what is apparently an old stand by in the NE Philadelphia area, Curran's Irish Inn. Though I still cant totally figure out why, since the drinks, while free were watered down terribly, the sandwiches for Happy Hour were 3 days old or at least tasted like it and the music was too loud. I would reccomend the place if you won a free Happy Hour, since you could probably get a very good buzz going on $20. But, unless you are looking to meet a biker chick or some sort of tattoo artist, steer clear. Yes Im a Happy Hour snob, I grew up at the Shore!
A positive was the visit to Chink's on Torresdale. In my opinion, easily the best CheeseSteaks in Philadelphia. They really make Geno's and Pat's look silly in comparision, plus no gastrointestimal issues later on! Plus the only place I can find a Chocolate Coke.

Well, I am going to do this one backwards, since you could see my comments before checking out the post at The Book Bitches but it does show an interesting divide between men and women.
1.Flirting on the internet-not cheating if it is done once in a while to be funny or cute. Its just like flirting in person, once in a while is just being human, flirting often is the onramp to the cheating highway.
2.cybersex-most definetly cheating, though not an end the relationship offense.
3.Kissing-yep, very very cheating. With caveats of course, since there are some relationships that are open enough to allow this.
4.Porn/Masturbating-NO way! both are natural things, and damn needed sometimes
5.Emotional Affair-hard to have a definitive answer to this one. I have girls who I know online only. They are friends, and we support each other from time to time. I would be hurt if something happened to one of them, but we will never meet/speak in person and they will never surplant Mrs Duck. Was that a good non-answer answer?
6.Oral Sex/Petting-soooo cheating, though lap dances from strippers on either side arent.
7.Sexual Fantasies-I would have a problem if it was someone I/we knew, just because that can be creepy. Celebrities, as long as its not needed for sex is not cheating
8.Having sex on a break-no not cheating but not the way to rebuild a relationship.

Favorite Song-State of Love and Trust. Its just one of those great songs that builds from the get go. A great Friday, driving home from work on the Turnpike song.
Favorite Album-Singles Soundtrack, by a nose over Bon Jovi. More for its place in history then for anyone singular song on the album. It is what really brought the new grunge sound home to me.
Least Favorite Song-Stagger Lee. If you hear the Lloyd Price version, it shows how much this version really pales in comparison.
Saw in Concert-Bon Jovi, 7/06. One of the top two concerts I have ever seen in my entire life. They played for almost 2 hrs in oppressive heat, and hit every song that you would know and love.

I can not recall the last time I felt this surge of glee over a primary for a Senatorial Candidate in a state I have absolutely no attachment to. But, Joe Lieberman had to go. I know that he is not the only Jewish Representative in Congress, but he sure does seem to make sure that everyone knows he is a Jewish Representative! I have always thought that Senator Lieberman never really fit in with the Democratic Party, now of course, the man won't take his beating and go away. Democrats are just lucky that the Republicans of Connecticut never trot out anyone but a sacrificial lamb, becuase Lieberman as an independant would be better then some Republican Hack. Was reading the Daily News yesterday and there was a small blurb in there about the purchase and format change to come for 97.5 The Hawk a classic rock station in Mercer County that reaches into Philadelphia proper. Now, I was not a huge fan of the station, I get my classic Rock from 93.3 and 102.9, heck this station is not even in my presets. But, one thing I do hope is that they dont switch formats to another rap/R&B station. One thing we dont need in this city is more 50 Cent and Emimem!
Though, she is not as little known as I thought, though if you are reading this in California you may have no idea who Erin O'Hearn is and that is why I feel the need to share this stuff. Though I must say, the choice of pictures is much worse then last weeks choice.
