I so want to try this one day.

And Dragon may disagree with me (because she's a ninny), but I have it on excellent authority that basting while cooking is not only useless, but prolongs the cooking time = drying out bird.Hyperionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09918089288365164048noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158674.post-43704220484833650782007-11-20T20:58:00.000-05:002007-11-20T20:58:00.000-05:00I have a great sweet potato recipe. But if I were forced to (pardon the phrase) do a bird, here's something I'd try -- Giada from the Food Network puts sliced lemons and oranges inside the turkey and leaves them in there as it roasts. She swears the turkey doesn't taste citrusy, but stays really nice and moist. I'm sure the entire recipe is on the Food Network website somewhere. The Gal Herselfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02566779726191649848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8158674.post-87455404087577313282007-11-20T11:17:00.000-05:002007-11-20T11:17:00.000-05:00I only mildly enjoy turkey so instead of stuffing ...I only mildly enjoy turkey so instead of stuffing I shove a Ribeye Steak up it's ass.
