Vacation Post-Porn and Politics 1-Claires

Yes, it is another vacation, so we have a few filler posts. Starting off with Claires.

Clair McCaskill is the Senator of Missouri, a early Obama endorcer.

Claire Robbins is a porn starlet. Not exactly the prettiest one out there, she makes up for it by being very active.

Duckettes getting hotter and hotter

I am just saying. And, please, Oregon is whipping a conference opponent, while LSU & Penn State beat up on 1-AA opponents. Let me know, Wordnerd, when you actually play someone.

And yet, I am looking so forward to this!

Raving Liberal Moment #2 Hillary

I can not get the video yet, but the speech was a knockout. If she spoke like that all the time I might have fallen in love with her. But, the moment of the night...

"No way, No How, No McCain"

Sparky's Raving Liberal Moment-Day 1-Ted Kennedy

I really do not even have to talk about this. Just watch in awe!

Convention Night One

Okay, to be honest, tonight is the nubs night of the convention. Which is of course why there is a Ted Kennedy tribute, and the possibility of Ted showing up like Willis Reed for the Knicks. But, Mrs Duck and I will still be watching. Michelle Obama is the headliner tonight and all I really hope is that she handles herself admirably.

Olympics After Dark-Synchro Swimmers of Brazil and Dwayne Wade

I must admit, I only heard of these girls because they were the talk of the Fantasy Football Draft last night. Though the Freas girls of Brazil do show why guys would notice them.

I was up until 3:30 am last night, watching the first half of the Gold Medal Game in Men's basketball, and while Kobe Bryant may have played better in that first half, it seemed Dwayne Wade hit some bigger shots.

The Olympics maybe over, but I think I can manage to squeeze out a few more nights of hotness from them. Stay Tuned...

Bidenriffic

If you are a regular reader of this blog, you will know that I am a Joe Biden fan. I think I may have realized part of the reason why, following a discussion with some friends about Barack Obama's VP choice. Mrs Duck said Biden is a lot like me, he says whatever he feels like saying.

Now, that may not be totally true, since Mrs Duck has been known to turn a curse phrase or two, there is parts of that statement that is correct. One of Joe Biden's strongest attributes, and also possibly one of his weaknesses, is the fact that he says what is on his mind and says it in a way that at times, you do not need one of those public relations gurus to explain what the hell he means.

Which is just what the Presidency run of Barack Obama needs. Obama has a great way with words, but he has not had an attack dog by his side. Biden can fit that bill perfectly. And even though his political intelligence is unquestioned, or at least his experience in DC would be, the attack dog is what the Senator of Delaware brings to the campaign.

Plus the whole Delaware thing is a plus.

Ice Pick

So, as I am sitting at my desk, after 5 pm, getting emails about supply plans and trying to think of ways to motivate the rest of my crew, plus reach out to excite new vendors and nothing was coming to my brain, I just felt like driving an ice pick through my eye.

Is that wrong?

Olympics After Dark-Phelps Beard

Yes, I am not to original tonight, somehow I think most of my readers will not complain. Plus, its one last chance to blog about ow chiahuahua, Amanda Beard.

Guess which one is Michael Phelps

Olympics in Pictures Day 6 & 7-Phelps Alert

I am still horribly behind, though I still plan on showing pictures, dammit, no matter when it ends. First, day 6

The US Softball team is so good, the IOC is actually taking the sport out of the Olympics. So far, the Golden Girls of softball have given up 1 run.

And, by day 6, do you think Michael Phelps was sick of cameras??

Hmm, I guess not

And of course, I take the opportunity to show the All Around Gold Gymnastics champ, and legal to look at Nastia Liukin

Thankfully, The Jonas Brothers are here to save the day

Today, was a massive meeting of political minds, as Disney's Hanson Ripoff, the Jonas Brothers (sorry tweens, Hanson was here first) visited the White House. Thankfully, I do not think there are any sort of pictures of the boys meeting with the President, they were just there to shoot some sort of P.S.A.Especially with the Shrub in Crawford

But, I can now rest comfortably tonight, because I am sure Ethan, or Jan, or whatever the hell there names are, also probably saved the North Pole, solved Global Warming and the issue in Georgia and also maybe balanced the budget.

Olympics After Dark-Adu Liukin

If you do not think I will be showing a picture of hottie unclassified and gold medalist, Nastia Liukin, then you do not know Sparky that well.

And since the US Mens Soccer team could not defeat a second rate Nigerian team, here is my one tribute to Freddy Adu.

Olympics Day 4 & Day 5-Makeup Session

I realize I have some making up to do, when it comes to the Olympics in pictures. Shockingly, I have been able to keep up with my hottie posts. Why can I pull that off? I wonder??

Anyway, since I owe some pictures, here is some extras from Day 4 first, 3 instead of just 1. Some Judo, Fencing and your prerequisite Michael Phelps photo.

And for Day 5, its a swimming relay, Shawn Johnson, and poor Alicia Sacramone.

Olympics After Dark-Sonni? Really??

Now, I know when it comes to hotness, this is not the hottest female swimmer out there, however, I must give love to West Windsor, New Jersey, where Rebecca Sonni went to school. I went to college with a few hotties from WW, and I am feeling very proud of a jersey girl.

And while its not Phelps, Lady Jane, I think you will be quite pleased with gold medalist, Ryan Lochte.

Take that Frigga

Chocolate Covered Bacon

Yes, I said Chocolate Covered Bacon!!! How bad could that be? Famous Dave's is my favorite chain barbeque place to get ribs. Though I admit that there are other down home places that are better, FD is everywhere and suckling good.

At the Minnesota State fair, Famous Dave's put out a recipe for Chocolate Covered Bacon (yes Bacon!!) that is all the rage now in Minnesota and California. This sounds like the yummiest thing ever. Sweet and salty and nothing with bacon ever tastes bad.

Olympics after Dark-Swimming and Badminton

yes I said badminton, but first, lets get some swimming in

Natalie Coughlin won another medal yesterday, a split second gold in the 100m breast stroke. She has now won 7 medals in her Olympic career.

Lin Dan is a badminton player from China and he appears to be quite impressive, winning the 2007 World Championships. I may have to take up badminton professionally to get to look that good.

Olympics After Dark-International Flavor

Aschwin Wildeboer, of Spain by way of Holland I think, or maybe Germany. He finished in like 6th place in the 100 Backstroke final, but I still thought the ladies would enjoy.

Anna Pavlova. Yes she is Russian, yes she is a gymnast, and thankfully, she is legal (1987).

Olympics in Pictures Day 4

If you did not stay up until 11pm EST last night, you surely missed something special. And easily, the picture of the day for Day 4. I just wish I could share the video.

I had said all day to Mrs Duck, all I want to see tonight is the relay, see I am right sometimes.

Olympics After Dark-Some Swimming

I am not a fool, if I am going to go for some hot men and women to show off, I will have to make sure that they are swimmers and that they are medalists.

Stephanie Rice, gold medalist in the 400 IM, from Australia

Kajima, Gold Medalist in the backstroke

Olynpics in Pictures-Day 3

At least I think it is day 3, with this whole time zone nonsense, I think it could actually be day 6 and I do not even know it.

What I love about this picture, if the reaction of the President's daughter Barbara Jr. I know we have all had one of the moments when it comes to our parents

Olympics After Dark-Tennis

I figured, all these beautiful athletic bodies needed a showcase somewhere, so let us start the Olympics after dark sexy picture posts. You know Sparky Duck, he likes skin and he likes being an equal opportunity person.

So, enjoy Anna Ivanovic and Rafael Nadal, you can decided who is who

Olynpics in Pictures Day 2

The neat thing about this picture is that Katerina Emmons of the Czech Republic is married to Matt Emmons of the United States. Even neater, they are both shooting competitors. Even more cosmically neat, Katerina started dating Matt after the 2004 Olympics in Athens, because she was impressed about the way that Matt handled himself after blowing an almost insurrmountable lead in the rifle competition after he shot at the wrong target.

Sparky's Hut
has the silver medal picture, IMHO.

Not a Good First Olympic Headline

Assailant Stabs to Death the Father in Law of US Volleyball Coach

Not the way to wake up and eat your Frosted Flakes and sip on the coffee. And the true problem, about the awful tragedy part of it, is the fact that since it is China, we will probably never know why the whackjob did it. Because if you do not think that the Chinese government is going to sweep that under the rug, I have a bridge to sell you in Philadelphia.

Olympics in Pictures-Day 1

Over on Sparky's Photo Hut, we will feature my runner up choice, but for now, let us enjoy some photographic genius from Sports Illustrated<.

Olympics Fever? More like an Olympics Cold

Technically, the Olympics have already begun. There are way too many soccer games that need to be played before these 3 weeks are up, so some of the preliminaries in that sport have already begun. But, usually I am really into this thing. But, it is in China, and I have not necessarily agreed with that fact. Way way way too many things can go wrong there, with a chance for the eyes of the world to be on such a secretive place. So I call it Olympic Cold instead of Olympic Fever.

I will be into the Track and Field, Swimming and some of the gymnastics, after a while, it does find itself becoming old. Too much Badminton and Volleyball, not enough Boxing. Plus, NBC presents it like a TV show, not a sport.

Plus, the first test of the smog and weather in China comes quickly. The Cycling Road Race will be held this weekend, and when the US Cycling team showed up wearing masks already, that does not give us an auspicious start.

What Pissed off Mrs Duck

"I think it is the most disgraceful, objectionable video I have ever seen in my entire life"-Mrs Duck.

It was about 12:00 AM, when we watched the tape of the Action News, when they played a slight snippet of "The One" video. I was calm and cool, half in the bag actually. Mrs Duck went apoleptic in her disgust and anger towards it. In fact, Cardinals Rigali, McCarrick and Bevilacqua will be expecting emails from her just because she was so insulted. She was up until 2 am because she was pissed.

So that may explain my little fraud post from last night, but truly, if you watch this ad, how can you not think it maybe crossing the church/state political line.

and by the way JOHN McCAIN IS A FRAUD!!!

Not Breaking News...
